GH Spoilers Friday, October 20: Unfortunate Outcomes, Argumentative Mothers, Unintended Consequences!

General Hospital (GH) spoilers and updates for Friday, October 20, 2023, tease unfortunate outcomes, argumentative mothers and unintended consequences!

Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) is frustrated at an unfortunate outcome, Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) is an argumentative mother, and Laura Collins (Genie Francis) deals with unintended consequences.

General Hospital Spoilers – Disappointments And Frustrations

Team Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) deals with disappointments and frustrations as a guard arrives at Drew’s room and says he’s taking him back to Pentonville.

Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) looks on, as elsewhere, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) was “interviewing” Judge Albert Kim (Kurt Yue) Alexis will be disheartened and Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) afraid.

They were working this plan to expose the judge in hopes he’d be “strongly encouraged” to rethink his decision on Drew’s case. But it looks like either they’re too late or Drew is in even more danger.

GH Spoilers – Unfortunate Outcomes

Dante is frustrated as he talks to Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) about the unfortunate outcome of his rescue of Ava Jerome (Maura West) from Mason Gatlin (Nathanyael Grey).

Cody notes it looks like Dante does the right things with the wrong outcomes, especially this time-he saved two lives when he shot Mason. There was Ava, and then there was Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) both of whom came close to being pushed off the edge of a cliff, and Mason kidnapped Ava.

Dante is on administrative leave for shooting Mason, but he had no choice-Dex hadn’t a clear shot and was on the ground, and Mason had a gun.

General Hospital Spoilers – Argumentative Mothers

Esme is at GH with Ace Prince-Cassadine (Joey and Jay Clay) in her arms and her uncle, Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) at her side.

It looks like someone may have made a report to child welfare services about her, as she protests she’s perfectly capable of caring for her own son!

Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) wouldn’t have even done that except if he was following his duplicitous Cassadine nature and trying to get sole custody.

Might someone else be trying to get custody-someone who hasn’t revealed himself as of yet? Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) did mention a family reunion when he left Pautuck for Geneva!

GH Spoilers – Robert Scorpio And Diane Miller’s  Heart-To-Heart

Elsewhere, Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) is being his rakishly charming self as he smiles and flirts with Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy).

Diane doesn’t look so sure as he asks her maybe they can pick up where they left off! Every time she thinks she’s getting somewhere with him he’s got an ex-wife whose needs he puts ahead of hers.

Robert may or may not get the answer that he wants, because she means serious business-she won’t share him with his ex-wives.

General Hospital Spoilers – Unintended Consequences

Elsewhere, Laura deals with the unintended consequences of Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez) having been too close with Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) even though this is just being realized.

Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) had been clueless as to how to handle his teenage daughter but Laura quickly figured things out.

Laura gently questions Charlotte, trying to draw her out, as she asks if Charlotte is worried about her father. Laura is aware that Charlotte might not be completely forthcoming with her but she’s pretty sure she knows what’s going on.

GH Spoilers – Valentin Cassadine Explains To Anna Devane

Elsewhere, it looks like Valentin is trying to explain things to Anna Devane, (Finola Hughes) as she asks him why he thinks what’s been happening to her is revenge.

After talking with Laura, he realized that when Victor was still alive and had access to Charlotte, he’d weaponized her.

It’s a case of Victor’s revenge against Anna, with Charlotte meting it out-she could have even been programmed to do so if and when Victor died.

Post-hypnotic suggestions combined with tarot cards can be a very powerful weapon, as Anna and Valentin found out with Peter August (Wes Ramsey)!

General Hospital Spoilers – Spencer Cassadine Reacts

Spencer reacts, possibly finding out about or walking in on the scene at GH with Esme, Ace and Kevin.

He wants to know what the hell was that about, and he’s completely clueless!

Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) had made a good point in their previous discussion bordering on an argument that someday Esme and Ace would be on their own.

Perhaps Spencer did make a move to get sole custody of Ace from Esme, and now he’s playing innocent? It seems a Cassadine is a Cassadine is a Cassadine no matter which one he is!
