GH Spoilers Friday, July 21: Panicky Patients, Amateur Detectives, Coerced Confessions

General Hospital (GH) spoilers and updates for Friday, July 21 tease panicky patients, amateur detectives and coerced confessions.

Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) gets panicky when he can’t feel his legs, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) plays amateur detective and Sasha Gilmore’s (Sofia Mattsson) confession appears to be coerced.

General Hospital Spoilers: Panicky Patient

It’s bad enough when Curtis can’t feel his legs and acts like a panicky patient but even worse when those in the room with him don’t seem surprised.

He’s more upset that TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) and Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) don’t seem surprised than that he can’t feel his legs.

The bullet was close to his spine, and even though surgeons got all the pieces out it was noted that the vertebrae next to it was nearly collapsed.

Everyone was hoping against hope that there were no residual effects, but it looks like Curtis is paralyzed possibly from the waist down. Now further testing will need to be done to determine if it’s temporary or permanent-if there’s swelling at the surgery site it may just be temporary.

GH Spoilers: It’s A Deal

Sasha’s psychiatrist and Gladys Corbin’s (Bonnie Burroughs) gambling buddy Damon Montague (Darin Toonder) is in a obvious argument with Gladys. Gladys looks frightened as she’s lost control of the situation and he angrily tells her she’s done her part, and he’ll do his.

Gladys and Sasha are in General Hospital where Sasha was brought in handcuffs from the Metro Court Pool, where she stabbed Cody Bell (Josh Kelly). With Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) out of the country, Montague probably is the one who evaluates Sasha’s mental and emotional condition and he’ll make sure she goes away.

General Hospital Spoilers: Robert Scorpio Runs Into Diane Miller

Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) runs into Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) in front of a row of snack machines and asks an ornery question! He eyeballs her and sarcastically asks, only one thing for “Killer Miller”?

They’ve been a bit on the outs since she decided he only has eyes for Holly Sutton (Emma Samms) and she won’t share him even if she’s returned to England.

The allusion to her wanting a one-woman man is rather obvious as she doesn’t miss a trick. So will it be yea, or will it be nay to Robert’s question?

GH Spoilers: Ava Jerome Reassures Austin Gatlin-Holt

Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth) has an odd question as he wants to know what happens if people disappoint someone. Ava Jerome (Maura West) will reassure him that he’s not disappointing her as they’re just tipping their toes in the waters of dating.

They’re still keeping secrets together and being together is the best way to keep their secrets-a small circle of trusted people is best kept small. But Austin is keeping some secrets from Ava that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) overheard-there’ll be questions.

General Hospital Spoilers: Drew Cain Reassures Carly Spencer

At Pentonville Prison, Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) reassures Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) that something’s taken care of. Carly looks worried and it could be about the big fines she’s having to pay, but it’s more likely about Drew himself.

Drew may be finding that Pentonville is different than Victor Cassadine’s (Charles Shaughnessy) dungeons or Helena Cassadine’s (Constance Towers) labs.

Even if there is something to worry about, Drew won’t let on to Carly. He wants her to feel safe feeling like he’s safe.

GH Spoilers: Amateur Detectives

At the Metro Court Pool, Josslyn plays amateur detective as she tells Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) that they both know who that bullet was meant for. It’s unclear if she’s talking about the pool shooting where Curtis was hit or the previous shooting in the warehouse where Dex got hit.

Josslyn may not be aware that there were three bullets fired and Curtis was hit by a ricochet. But it’s pretty obvious she means Sonny, and she’s still worried about Dex working for him, especially since he has a new assignment.

General Hospital Spoilers: Sonny Corinthos Has A Question

Sonny appears to be with someone as he asks if there’s a problem with his toast? He’s probably still with Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) who’ll rush over to GH. No doubt she’ll find out that Sasha has been taken to GH over the incident with Cody Bell (Josh Kelly).

Sonny is bound to go with her since he is concerned over Sasha as well. She and Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) almost got married a few years back.

GH Spoilers: Coerced Confessions

Since Sasha was taken to GH handcuffed and with a police escort, the police will be involved and listening when she’s psychologically evaluated, probably by Dr. Montague.

Sasha is angry and frightened when she says she knew she had to stop him-although she was seeing Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) when she stabbed Cody. She thought she was defending Gladys from Cyrus, who she saw grabbing Gladys’ hand, but it was really Cody and he wasn’t trying to attack her.

No doubt Sasha’s evaluation is really a coerced confession, so Gladys can keep stealing Sasha’s money.
