GH Spoilers Friday, July 14: Anxious Waiting, Embarrassed Confessions, Worried Father

General Hospital (GH) spoilers and updates for Friday, July 14 tease anxious waiting, embarrassed confessions, and a worried father. Curtis Ashford’s (Donnell Turner) wait anxiously for updates, Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) makes an embarrassed confession, and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) is a worried father.

General Hospital Spoilers: Anxious Waiting

There’s a waiting room full of Ashfords, Robinsons, and a couple of Davis girls as everyone wants to know how Curtis is. Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) asks a grim looking TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) if Curtis made it out of surgery, as his and the other doctor’s demeanor seem otherwise. Curtis had a close call and a near-death out of body experience but seemed to be “heading home”.

A crash cart had been needed and they worked on Curtis for what seemed like an eternity. It seems by the looks on TJ and the other doctor’s faces that even though Curtis may have made it, he’s still not out of the woods.

GH Spoilers: Good News, Bad News

Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) talks to Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) about the shooter situation as he develops a theory. He tells Anna that it’s maybe not as much of a dead end as you might think. Anna had broken through the crime tape of the Metro Court Hotel room thought to be the sniper’s perch and found nothing. Dante felt that from the trajectory of the shots fired, either she or Sonny or both might have been the targets; then there was that ominous message painted on Anna’s door. “Murdered” painted in blood red isn’t something Anna should be ignoring.

General Hospital Spoilers: Sneak Attack

Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) had been doing some surveillance and snapping photos of Selina Wu (Lydia Look) and Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) when someone snuck up behind her. He put his hand on her shoulder and it was probably not the best thing to do, she could have responded with a gun! She stomps out of a house yelling “you scared the hell out of me” and since Mac Scorpio (John J. York) confesses something to her, it was probably him.

Mac should know better than to sneak up on someone like that for many different reasons. But if he saw who she was taking photos of he might also admit he’s worried about Cody!

GH Spoilers: Embarrassed Confessions

Elsewhere, Sasha has a confession as she’s embarrassed to tell someone she screwed up! Thanks to her “doctor” Damon Montague’s (Darin Toonder) scheming with Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) she shoplifted a whole bag of clothes from Logan’s Department Store and didn’t remember it. The medicine she has been prescribed by Montague work with the one she was already on to make her high, and people have already noticed. Sasha may have been fooled into thinking she is not as ready as she thought to take back her life and be released from the guardianship. And that is exactly what Montague and Gladys wanted to happen!

General Hospital Spoilers: Door Slammed

Meanwhile, Cody has shown up at Gladys’ suite, where she’s holding a flute of champagne, probably hanging out with Montague. She slams the door in Cody’s face, telling him he’s the last thing they need right now. Cody no doubt notes that she uses the word “we” meaning she’s got someone else inside, and he’s there to find out what Gladys has done to sabotage Sasha now.

He got the message, after a minor beat down by Selina’s henchman Li (Samuel Wang) that she was being questioned by the PCPD. Cody knows that Gladys does not have Sasha’s best interests at heart, and she’s probably set her up.

GH Spoilers: Nina Reeves Flabbergasted

Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) is flabbergasted as she asks someone if they want to tell the court about this? She might be talking to Ava Jerome (Maura West) who’ll have a confession to make on Monday’s episode. In general, the further away someone who’s done something wrong once in a while stays away from the court, the better off they are! It will be interesting to see how this conversation plays out and what the subject matter is. Whatever it is, Nina looks about as shocked as shocked can be.

General Hospital Spoilers: Worried Father

In the meantime, Sonny is still talking to Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) about their daughter Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi). Alexis had deferred to Sonny to talk to Kristina about some important issues, including the foundation Kristina was shouting. Alexis told Sonny she’ll listen better to him, and starts talking about her concerns for her.

Now Alexis has Sonny’s attention, and he wants to know what kind of trouble Kristina is heading for. Kristina frequently puts a plan into action before thinking out what the consequences might be.
