Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) feels guilty as Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) gives her support. It’s obvious that she’s found out Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) died after saving her life from The Hook. Josslyn freaks out to Carly in the kitchen of the Spencer house as she emotionally cries out this happened because of me!
If she hadn’t been there at the pier on the way to Britt’s party or had left sooner, maybe Britt wouldn’t have had to die. Carly will tell her it wasn’t her fault and both she and Britt were in the wrong place at the wrong time.
Meanwhile, Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) lends support to Cameron Webber, (William Lipton) who had his heart broken by Josslyn when she broke up with him. Spencer has dropped in on his friend at Kelly’s, and obviously he hasn’t heard about Britt’s death yet or he’d be way more upset. Spencer lays the blame for Josslyn dumping Cameron on Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) and he’s exactly right. Even from a distance Dex and Josslyn’s mutual attraction is obvious.
Since Josslyn was attacked on the pier, Dex shooting Heather Webber (Alley Mills) in the arm, he’s been escorting her everywhere, including to Kelly’s Pub to break up. It’s very likely he also escorted her to the Spencer house, and they’re outside in the yard when he says to someone, probably her, they know how to reach him. Until The Hook is identified and brought to justice, and it’s the right person, he’ll be by Josslyn’s side no matter what anyone else says.
Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) both gave Dex instructions to stay away from Joss unless one of them told him to protect her. Dex is going to be her bodyguard regardless and that is a fact whether they like it or not.
Elsewhere, Drew is desperate as he tells someone on the phone that a woman’s life may depend on this. He’s likely found Josiah Black (Allen Marsh in photo) the former leader of the Peace and Love Commune in spite of Carly’s efforts in hiding the file he had on him. Drew had called another contact and asked to search for Josiah, who may be the only person who can tell the truth about Willow Tait’s (Katelyn MacMullen) origin. He is not going to give up since Denise McKenzie (Alice Reitveld) lied, knowing Willow’s leukemia is the reason she’s looking for family.
Meanwhile, at the Quartermaine gatehouse where Willow lives with Michael, he looks worried as she gets an important call. It sounds like the chemo, which she refers to by the medical name isn’t working, and that is cause for alarm. That means that a bone marrow transplant is needed as the only way to save her life, and if she can’t find a compatible donor, she’s a goner.
A close family member would be the best donor match although sometimes a non-relative will be a match. But it will take much longer to find a donor from a transplant list.
Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) issues a warning to someone, as she says it’s not going to happen, obviously still at General Hospital. She may be intervening in Esmé Prince’s (Avery Kristen Pohl) behalf by coming clean to Attorney Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) about what she knows. There’s no way Esmé could be the Hook, except for the recent attacks on Britt and Josslyn she was held captive by Nikolas. Even so, Britt gave a statement to police about the attack before she died, and certainly a trained OB/Gyn would have noticed if her attacker were seven months pregnant! Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) even thinks Esmé is not the Hook, at least not this time.
In Esmé’s room, she is obviously uncomfortable as she asks Liesl Obrecht, (Kathleen Gati) wearing her late daughter Britt’s lab coat and badge what she wants. She had asked for something stronger because she couldn’t sleep and Liesl, with an evil grin on her face said she could help. It’s been public knowledge that Esmé is the number one person of interest in the Hook killings, and Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth) mentioned that the suspect was currently in the hospital.
Liesl obviously intends for Esmé to take a permanent nap, seven months pregnant or not. Question is, will she succeed or will she be interrupted?
Also at GH, Sonny takes action as he slams Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) into the Nurses’ Station, obviously just having found out he is the father of Esmé’s baby. How low could he get, having an affair with his own son’s girlfriend, broken up or not, and how could he have disrespected his wife in that manner? Sonny’s never claimed to be an angel, but even he has never sunk that low. Sonny blasts Nikolas and right now, he’s probably tempted to make him disappear in the Pine Barrens. Sonny has never liked him since he was involved with his late sister Courtney Matthews, (Alicia Leigh Willis) and now he likes him even less.
Nina Reeves, (Cynthia Watros) who had went to Britt’s office after Liesl wanted her to meet her there and not finding her, has gone to look for her aunt. Remembering what happened when Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) died to Peter August (Wes Ramsey) she gets a bad feeling. She shows up at Esmé’s room, enters, and asks someone, likely her aunt what has she done?
Did Liesl get that fatal injection into Esmé, is she dead, or is Nina catching her in the act of trying to kill her? Nina has good reason to worry based on her aunt’s past revenge behavior!
