GH Spoilers Friday, January 20: Truth, Shock, Confrontations

General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Friday, January 20 tease truth, shock and confrontations for those in Port Charles. Violet Finn (Jophielle Love) gets the truth, Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) gets a shock, and Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) gets a confrontation!

General Hospital Spoilers – Breaking The Truth To A Little One

At Kelly’s, Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) and Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) break the truth to Violet, who’s hopeful Liz and Finn will get back together. Unfortunately, they’ll have to tell her no, since there’s just too much water under the bridge to get through. Elizabeth and Violet will always be connected, since she’s her aunt, but there’s too much of a mess to fix between Elizabeth and Finn.

It’s going to be difficult for Violet to understand why they can’t just fix their relationship. But there’s a lot behind the scenes with Elizabeth especially, that’s too complicated for her little ears.

GH Spoilers – No More

At General Hospital, Dr. Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth) pushes back against his cousin Mason Gatlin (Nathanyael Grey). He’s been doing black market operations on the sneak at the hospital under orders of Mason who’s under the orders of someone else. Austin makes it clear that he’s done taking orders, he’s not doing this black market stuff anymore, he cares too much about saving lives. Either the black market operation is removing drugs from drug mules or it’s a black market organ deal, likely the former. Austin removes something from a patient Mason has brought in and it’s all very off the books-the two of them will come to blows.

General Hospital Spoilers – Nikolas Cassadine Shocked

At Wyndemere, Nikolas is shocked at Victor Cassadine’s (Charles Shaughnessy) actions when he finds out Victor’s no longer watching his back. If anything, it’s the opposite and he’s now the Cassadine patriarch’s target, with Victor warning the next time he defies him will be the last time. Nikolas has had his own ideas of how he’s going to handle crises such as Esmé Prince’s (Avery Kristen Pohl) pregnancy with his child.

Victor is definitely asserting that he’s the boss and Nikolas would do well not to forget it. Nikolas may be living on borrowed time.

GH Spoilers – Dex Heller’s Surprising News

It looks like Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) and Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) may be at the Spencer house when he has surprising news for Joss. He tells her he will no longer be working for Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) which is exactly what Josslyn wants to hear. She hasn’t liked his involvement from the time she rescued him from a meat hook in the freezer at Pozzulo’s Restaurant, being threatened by a thug with knives. The big question is, considering he just talked to Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) at the hospital, telling him he would still be taking Sonny down, is he lying to Joss?

General Hospital Spoilers – Confrontations

At the hospital, Carly gets a confrontation as Michael unleashes his anger – he asks her if Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) is the enemy, what does that make her? He still can’t believe his mother knew Nina was Willow Tait’s (Katelyn MacMullen) birth mother for months and never told her anything! It clearly was not her choice to decide whether Willow had the right to know or not but that’s what she did, as Michael reminded her.

They will continue to argue and there’s likely a fatal rift between mother and son that Carly will not be able to fix – no matter how many excuses she makes. When Michael gets mad at someone, he stays mad and this being a matter of life and death doesn’t help!

GH Spoilers – Marshall Ashford Says Enough

At the Ashford house, Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) has continued to nag Marshall Ashford (Robert Gossett) about getting tested for schizophrenia, her feeling he may have been misdiagnosed. He already told her it was too late for that and that it was a big reason that he felt he couldn’t play a clarinet solo at their wedding. But Portia has been very insistent and Marshall just can’t with her!

Exasperated, he shouts at her, ENOUGH! He’s done talking about it and that is that!
