GH Spoilers Friday, August 4: Concerned Friends, Offers Of Help, Continuing Search

General Hospital (GH) spoilers and updates for Friday, August 4 tease concerned friends, offers of help, and a continuing search.

Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) asks about Nikolas Cassadine, (Adam Huss) Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) offers her help, and the search for Nikolas continues on Cassadine Island.

General Hospital Spoilers – Concerned Friends

At GH, Elizabeth suddenly becomes concerned about her old friend Nikolas as she asks if someone has heard anything from him.

She hadn’t mentioned his name since she got out of the trouble he got her in caring for Esmé Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) in the tower at Wyndemere during her pregnancy.

Considering Ava Jerome (Maura West) is also still in the hospital talking to Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth) she may be asking Ava even though Liz knows they were getting divorced.

Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) has also just returned from Chechnya, where he and Laura and Kevin Collins (Genie Francis, Jon Lindstrom) found no leads.

It’s possible he’s stopped by GH for some reason and Liz could be asking him as well.

GH Spoilers – Checking In

Also at the hospital, Nurse Deanna Sirtis (Dioni Michelle Collins) checks in with Dr. Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) asking if it’s good news. He smiles and says “the best” obviously talking about his and Elizabeth’s renewed romantic relationship.

Liz and Finn have been through some very trying circumstances together the last few years, and it looks like fate might finally be cutting them a break. Finn looks the happiest he’s been in ages, if something or someone doesn’t mess things up between them again!

General Hospital Spoilers – Grateful For Rescue

At the gatehouse, Michael and Willow Corinthos (Chad Duell, Katelyn MacMullen) talk about current events when she mentions she’s glad Nina rescued her from that. Nina had come recently to tell Michael and Willow what had happened with Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) and that she’d been put in Ferncliff.

The last time they’d seen Sasha she’d come to their house with a bunch of clothes for Willow, unfortunately shoplifted, although accidentally. Willow seems to be slowly but surely bonding with her birth mother, although Michael has concerns.

GH Spoilers – Offers Of Help

Meanwhile, Nina is at Charlie’s, talking to Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) and telling her she wants to help any way that she can. It sounds like they’re talking about Kristina’s youth shelter and perhaps she’s looking for some publicity.

Nina could easily do a great article in Crimson that would generate some buzz, and portray Kristina and her mission in a positive light. Or might Kristina be asking for a different kind of help with a different situation?

General Hospital Spoilers – Two Conspirators Continue Conspiring

At Austin’s office, the two conspirators, himself and Ava, continue conspiring as he tells Ava that he was being tailed by Dex Heller (Evan Hofer).

Ava wants to know as Dex was following him, was there anything for him to see? Basically he saw Austin talking to Gordon Stevens (Maurice Hall) but Mason Gatlin (Nathanyael Gray) was there before Dex started tailing Austin.

Austin can’t be sure that Dex saw him and Mason talking or not, because Mason said he’d pay Gordon off to leave town. Austin wasn’t surprised at Mason offing Gordon, but if Dex had seen Mason he’d be talking about it.

GH Spoilers – The Search Continues

Meanwhile, the search for Nikolas continues on Cassadine Island, as Laura tells Kevin whatever they find, they’ll face together.

There’s no certainty that Nikolas is hiding out there either, and chances are they won’t find him there-he was in too bad of shape for Mason to take him far.

On the other hand, Nikolas could have healed up enough and come too from the life support and be hiding out-but that’s a very small chance. No one has been there since Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) came home without his twin, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) who’s entombed in the tunnel.

General Hospital Spoilers – Catching Up

Now that Valentin’s back the first thing he appears to do is check in on Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and they talk about the Metro Court Pool shooting. Valentin appears to be talking about Sonny when he asks if she’s sure that he wasn’t a target, although he could mean Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner).

Sonny, Anna and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) have all been brainstorming about who the target could be as well as the sniper, who’s still not been found.

It looks more and more like whoever spray painted “murderer” in blood red on Anna’s door might have also been the sniper, or working with the sniper.

The weapon was found in Martin Grey’s (Michael E. Knight) Metro Court suite and traced back to the WSB arsenal.
