GH Spoilers Friday, August 11: Big Asks, Refusals Of Help, Target Acquired

General Hospital (GH) spoilers and updates for Friday, August 11 tease big asks, refusals of help, and a target acquired!

Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) has a big ask, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) refuses help, and Anna Devane’s (Finola Hughes) an acquired target!

General Hospital Spoilers – One Phone Call-

At the PCPD, Detective Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) looks at a disheveled Eddie Maine aka Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) as he asks if anyone would like to make a call.

Eddie stepped up big for Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) at the dive bar, as Mason Gatlin (Nathanyael Gray) put the hit on her.

A bar fight ensued, with Mason the winner-until Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) hit him in the head with a whiskey bottle!

It would probably be best if someone used that one phone call to get a lawyer. Olivia is there and she was involved, and so is Carly-so who’s he going to call?

GH Spoilers – Ava Jerome Gets A Call

At home, Ava Jerome (Maura West) gets a call and asks the person what did they expect? It’s probably not from Eddie, Carly or Olivia, however, it looks like it’s going to be from Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros).

Might something have gone with Nina’s wedding planning, or does something else have her worried? Ava probably figures there was some ulterior motive if she knows Olivia agreed to plan her and Sonny’s wedding.

General Hospital Spoilers – Olivia Quartermaine Defensive

Back at the PCPD, Olivia is defensive as she says she’s not going to admit she did anything wrong.

Going to that dive bar probably wasn’t the best place to be even if Carly was with her-perhaps she was hunting for Eddie/Ned? Or was that a coincidence?

They found her wandering minstrel but at what cost? Even getting knocked out again didn’t bring Ned back, he’s still Eddie.

GH Spoilers – Big Asks

Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) looks concerned when Finn has a big ask-about his daughter and her niece, Violet Finn (Jophielle Love).

He tells Elizabeth he thinks there’s someone who would be better for Violet, and it looks like he’s asking her to take her in. It’s not always easy for a single man to raise a little girl, and Violet is getting older, so maybe a female influence would be better.

Elizabeth may or may not agree, being the father of three boys who she raised mainly on her own!

General Hospital Spoilers – Family Meeting

At GH in Austin Gatlin-Holt’s (Roger Howarth) office, Mason obviously didn’t have to have any stitches from Carly hitting him with the whiskey bottle.

But something of concern has come up – and Mason tells Austin he has as much riding on it as he does.

Mason didn’t even get questioned at the PCPD, it doesn’t look like, but it also looks like the good doctor Gatlin-Holt isn’t as good as previously thought.

What could these two be up to-are they worried about Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) finding Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss)? And in what condition-dead or alive?

GH Spoilers – Family Discussion

After Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) offered Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) and family to move into Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) and Lulu Spencer’s (Emme Rylan) house, she thought it a done deal.

But perhaps Sam overstepped just a bit, given Dante’s reaction-he seems offended and asks whose idea was that?

They could be talking about another subject, however, as Sam updates Dante-perhaps they’re talking about the situation with Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) and Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson).

But it does certainly sound like they’re talking about Sam overstepping and offering the house to Maxie-after all, Sam can’t speak for Dante.

General Hospital Spoilers – Disappearing Houseguests

Back at Sonny’s penthouse, Nina is distressed on the phone as she’s standing in a bedroom-she exclaims, “Sonny, he’s gone!”

She is obviously talking about Eddie although it seems Sonny already knows. Eddie had fled the Quartermaine mansion after overhearing Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) trying to convince Olivia he needed to be committed.

He obviously showed up at Sonny’s before taking off for the dive bar, where he encountered Olivia, Carly, – and Mason! Sonny is at the PCPD with Eddie, who probably used his one phone call to call him.

GH Spoilers – Refusal Of Help

Back at the PCPD, Sonny has shown up and talks to Carly as Eddie is seen in the background.

Sonny gets a little irritated as he asks her why she has a problem with him doing it? It sounds like she’s refusing to let him help with her possible assault charges for hitting Mason over the head, but it’s hard in a barfight to prove defense of another.

No doubt Eddie is charged with the same thing even though Mason was sexually harassing Olivia!

General Hospital Spoilers – Target Acquired

At Anna’s house, it seems she’s a target acquired as someone watches her through the bushes looking at her watch. Is she waiting for someone to show up, Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) to show up, or someone else, like guards?

It looks like perhaps the person might follow Anna back into her house, and it doesn’t look good.

As a civilian it’s a toss up whether she even has a gun, and it’s a very dangerous situation for Anna. Who’s the big bad wolf who is waiting for Red Riding Hood?
