GH Spoilers: Finn’s Case Leaves GH In Jeopardy — Will Monica And Tracy Regret Backing Him?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charleson) and Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) didn’t hesitate to back Dr. Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) when the attorney for the hospital showed up to counsel them.

She didn’t seem too pleased with their decision to ride or die alongside Finn, but it is what it is.

While he was touched that the hospital was going to have his back instead of parting ways — a move that would have signaled the hospital thought Finn acted with negligence — he also understands the burden this places on the hospital to help him prove he wasn’t.

That may be good for him, but it hardly is for GH. Should the case go south, what will that mean for the future of General Hospital?

Tracy and Monica both know how this works. Finn is hardly the first physician to be sued, and they can’t say they’ve always sided with the doctor in question, but this time around is different.

They trust Finn and feel his work has been rather impeccable, but we can expect his past mistakes could come back to haunt him as he moves deeper into this lawsuit. Will the hospital be expecting that? His history with substance abuse is the tip of the iceberg.

Some fans are expecting that he could end up knowing Mrs. Muldoon — and just doesn’t know it yet. Either way, as the case against him strengthens, Tracy and Monica may have to question the decision they made to be his crutch.

Defending this kind of lawsuit is no small feat, and the Muldoons have an excellent attorney on their side — Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy). If she wins the case, the settlement could be a landmark lawsuit that leaves the hospital in dire straits.

Not only would Finn likely be out of a job, because he wouldn’t be able to retain malpractice insurance anywhere, but GH could go up in smoke if someone doesn’t step in and throw them a lifeline.

Is change on the horizon for GH as we know it? Rumor has it the hospital could be left facing serious financial ruin after Finn’s lawsuit plays out.

With that complication in the mix, it could leave the hospital poised to be purchased by someone else — with too much money and too much power to their name. Who might that be?

Will Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) rise from the grave to claim it as his own? Will Helena Cassadine (Constance Towers) be by his side?

Maybe it’ll be his nephew, Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss), instead. Regardless of who buys it, it’s likely they will bring a slew of changes that don’t affect GH for the better.
