General Hospital (GH) spoilers and updates tease that Dr. Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) will have some advice for Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) after she tells him something that makes him reel. Finn will tell her to throw Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) under the bus, and save herself-tell the PCPD what she knows.
General Hospital Spoilers – Friends Don’t Treat Friends This Way
If Nikolas was truly Elizabeth’s friend, he wouldn’t have made her his accomplice by pulling her into his drama, holding Esmé Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) prisoner in his castle for months. Nikolas pulled Elizabeth into the mess by convincing her to provide Esmé with prenatal care, and expected her to keep quiet and not bring the police into it. Even though Nikolas thought Esmé was The Hook, he should have called the police instead of trying to handle it himself because he wanted to raise her baby.
Elizabeth wanted to bring the police into it but Nikolas convinced her not to, even after it was proven she couldn’t be The Hook. But it was too late, she was already in the situation over her head, and as Nikolas pointed out, she could be considered an accomplice.
GH Spoilers – Buddies Or Bullied?
As Elizabeth’s mother, Carolyn Webber (Denise Crosby) also pointed out, Nikolas is no friend to Elizabeth; he’s taking advantage of their friendship and putting her in danger. It seems much more of a case of being bullied than being buddies as far as both Carolyn and Finn are concerned. Finn tells Elizabeth this is a much different situation then when they covered for each other with Peter August (Wes Ramsey) who wasn’t dead anyway.
August wasn’t a victim, he was a criminal, and even though Esmé committed crimes, she was also a victim of Nikolas, who in this case is an almost worse criminal. Finn plans to talk to Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) to find out the legalities for sure, but Nikolas could face kidnapping charges and harboring fugitive charges.
General Hospital Spoilers – It Would Be Better To Spill The Tea
Finn thinks it would be better for Elizabeth if she spilled the tea and threw Nikolas under the bus to save herself, that should qualify for some kind of plea deal. Nikolas is definitely guilty of coercion where Elizabeth is concerned since he forced her into helping him and Esmé, several months pregnant did need the medical care. That should count for something, because she couldn’t hardly refuse medical care to an expectant mother in captivity.
For Elizabeth’s part, she wishes that she had never gone to Wyndemere the day that Nikolas revealed his hostage. As far as she had known, Esmé was in the wind again, not knowing Nikolas took her to the castle while Elizabeth was passed out after being knocked out.
