GH Spoilers: Esmé’s Memory Returns After Knockout By Victor’s Henchman-Wakes Up Without Amnesia?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers and updates tease Esmé Prince’s (Avery Kristen Pohl) memory could return after being knocked out by Victor Cassadine’s (Charles Shaughnessy) henchman. Even though her amnesia seems to be of a psychological origin, it was due to trauma jumping from the parapet at Wyndemere, this event is traumatic too.

General Hospital Spoilers – Knocked Out From Behind?

There is every possibility she was knocked out from behind by one henchman with another grabbing Ace Prince-Cassadine (Jay and Joey Clay) from her arms, dropping his pacifier as they ran.

It was obvious she put up a fight because Laura Collins (Genie Francis) arrived first finding the pacifier then seeing Esmé on the floor and the room in disarray. What if she awoke from being knocked out with all her memories intact-it would be a great opportunity to just keep pretending she doesn’t remember-if she truly wants to stay changed.

A fresh start would be very difficult for Esmé to achieve unless she remains amnesiac-or pretending to be. Since there have been a couple of occasions where she seemed triggered memory-wise already-this could easily happen.

GH Spoilers – Triggered?

One time when Esmé seemed triggered to come out of her amnesia was when she named her baby Ace-she said it just sounded right. She’d been referring to him in her womb the whole time as Ace, meaning she felt he was her ace in the hole during her captivity at Wyndemere.

Another time she seemed triggered was when she was told her birth father, Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) was dead-a momentary flash of shock came on her face. That was something she apparently had a difficult time not reacting to, leading some viewers to think she was faking her amnesia all along. However, her fear the night he and the woman she learned was her birth mother, Heather Webber (Alley Mills) kidnapped her from Spring Ridge, was very real.

General Hospital Spoilers – A Telltale Twist

One thing that could be a telltale twist that the old Esmé has returned, is if she makes some angry vows to take down the people who stole her son. Esmé’s love for her baby boy appears to be very real, and she’d be given a pass for that type of response-Laura will be right there with her on that. Laura knows that Victor has to be behind this, unless Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) mysteriously reappeared without a trace to claim his son and then disappeared.

However, it was obvious Esmé struggled with the kidnapper or kidnappers and she would have been able to tell if it was Nikolas, even disguised. Most likely Victor’s henchmen Watkins aka Sammy Tagliati (Billy Gallo) or Ambrose (Charles Ambrose) were the ones responsible.
