GH Spoilers: Esmé’s Days Numbered, Victor Puts Hit On Mom And Baby Ace?

General Hospital spoilers and updates tease that Esmé Prince’s (Avery Kristen Pohl) promise she’d protect Ace Prince-Cassadine (Joey and Jay Clay) may be put to the test. Now that a new Cassadine heir has come into the world, Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) will do anything to get him-including putting a hit on his mother and kidnapping him!

General Hospital Spoilers – Custody Fight On, Cassadines Hated

Once Esmé was told that Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) had kept her prisoner while pregnant, and she was so desperate to escape she jumped from a parapet that was it. Esmé declared her hatred for any and all Cassadines including Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) who’s in a custody fight with her over his baby brother. Esmé doesn’t even want Laura Collins (Genie Francis) near her baby and blocked an arrangement for Laura and Spencer to take Ace home from the hospital when she went to jail.

General Hospital spoilers indicate that Victor was with Spencer and Laura and was playing with baby Ace when Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) emerged to tell them the bad news-she was representing Spencer in family court. Diane advised unfortunately there was nothing they could do because what Esmé was doing was perfectly legal, she could have her baby in prison with her for eighteen months.

GH Spoilers – Victor Cassadine Took Those As Fighting Words

Victor, as well as Spencer, took those as fighting words and Victor, unlike Spencer, doesn’t have a problem playing dirty-really dirty. While Nikolas still had Esmé in the north tower of Wyndemere he planned to ship her off to Cassadine Island in Greece until she gave birth, and after that—who knows. He said he’d make sure she was taken care of for the rest of her life, and considering Laura was in a similar situation when she gave birth to him, maybe.

But Victor has no such compunctions, and he won’t have a problem having Esmé disposed of so he can get the baby and whisk him away. When Esmé promised her newborn son she’d protect him with her life, there could have been a clue there her life would be in danger.

General Hospital Spoilers – Lost A Son, A Grandnephew, Won’t Lose Baby

As far as Victor knows, he’s lost a son and a grandnephew, although only Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) is faking his death, Nikolas only missing. Spencer is all Victor has of the Cassadine legacy and Spencer’s not real keen on his great-great uncle anymore.  But all this might make Victor worried there will be no one to carry on the Cassadine name and legacy, and so he may determine to kidnap Ace.

Spencer could find himself fighting Victor for custody instead of Nikolas, that is, if he can find Ace after Victor has him kidnapped. But kidnapping Ace may be harder than Victor thinks-he’s up against a cross between Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) and Heather Webber (Alley Mills)!
