General Hospital Spoilers reveal that Esme truly cannot move forward until she remembers her past. After all, Esme has had a lot going on and she knows she has a past with Spencer.

Esme also seduced Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss). Esme did a lot of terrible things before she turned up with no memory, things she still needs to pay for.

Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) tried to help Esme but it didn’t work. So far, none of Esme’s memories have surfaced even over a year since her return.

Esme believes that her son deserves more and needs his mother to be whole. However, is taking the risk to remember the past worth risking losing her future?

GH Spoilers – Caroline Webber May Be Able To Help

Esme could allow Kevin to try to help her after all of this time, perhaps she might be more accepting of his help since he seems to be on her side.

However, if not, Esme could contact Caroline Webber (Denise Crosby) to help. Nikolas called Denice once before to try and make the amnesia permanent. Would Caroline be willing to help her recover her memories instead?

Esme’s memories could become crucial if Nikolas tries to take Ace Cassadine (Jay and Joey Clay) from her. Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) has revealed that currently, Nikolas would not likely face any jail time for anything he has done.

However, protecting her son may be her top priority. After all, look at what Nikolas has put Spencer through, doesn’t Ace deserve better?

Esme’s best chance of keeping her son is regaining her memory. After all, Esme could back up Liz Baldwin’s (Rebecca Herbst) statement about Nikolas holding her hostage.

Will Esme risk prison to keep her son out of Nikolas’ hands? Could Ace lose both parents because of Esme’s memories and end up with his brother instead?
