GH Spoilers: Esme & Spencer’s Shocking Move To “Protect” Ace, Faking DNA Test

General Hospital (GH) spoilers indicate that things could get a little crazy with Nikolas Cassadine’s (Adam Huss) impending return to Port Charles.

Esme Prince (Avery Pohl) and Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) have found common ground and are working together nicely with co-parenting Ace Cassadine (Jay and Joey Clay).

Still, Nik will likely put a stop to all this and want to take his “rightful” place as Ace’s real biological father, cutting Spence out of the equation. Will the two exes do something drastic to stop Nikolas in his tracks?

GH spoilers suggest that there is certainly a bond between Esme and Spence, as both are focused on “doing what’s right” for Ace.

There may be feelings in the mix, as it’s clear that Ms. Prince is developing a crush on her ex, and Spencer has calmed down considerably when it comes to his disdain for Esme.

They also likely share a commonality in their views on Nik. Thanks to first-hand experience, Spencer doesn’t believe that his father should be in Ace’s life, as he doesn’t want his dad to hurt or disappoint his baby brother.

Meanwhile, Esme can’t really remember Nikolas thanks to her amnesia, but knowing he once kidnapped her and held her hostage won’t stir up any warm feelings for him.

GH Spoilers – Esme Prince & Spencer Cassadine Do Something Drastic

There was never a paternity test conducted on Ace. Nikolas believed Esme when she said she was pregnant with his child; in fact, everyone believed her, which seems odd considering the liar she was.

Could Esme and Spencer come up with a plan to launch a DNA test for Ace? Maybe Spence comes up with a lie stating that he and Esme did the deed on the same night that she was with Nik.

Perhaps the entire scheme comes from Spencer alone or they both decide to move forward with it. Keeping Trina out of the loop on this one would cause issues between Sprina, but sadly, Spence will be focused entirely on protecting his brother.

He’ll ensure to somehow tamper with the DNA test to prove that he is Ace’s biological father, essentially edging Nik out of the baby’s life.
