GH Spoilers: Esme Seeks Comfort From Mystery Person — Who Is It?

General Hospital spoilers suggest Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) has been through quite a lot, to say the least. Her past crimes have earned her plenty of enemies, and now that she’s trying to start over in Port Charles, she’s finding that her reputation precedes her.

But when Esme met Austin Gatlin Holt (Roger Howarth), it was like all of her worries faded away. His easy charm and wry sense of humor will be exactly what Esme needs to forget about all the people who are out to get her. Plus, he’s a cutie to boot. Of course, that’s not to say that things are perfect between Esme and Austin.

For starters, he doesn’t really know she exists, but she’s got plans to change that soon. She’s also still got plenty of secrets, and he’s not exactly an open book himself. Will they make the perfect couple — or perfect co-conspirators?

General Hospital Spoilers — Loneliness Creeps In

Esme is lonely, and that’s putting it lightly. She might have the comfort of a home at Laura Collins’ (Genie Francis) place, but she knows Laura also has her own interests in mind.

She wants to make sure Esme doesn’t run off with her grandson — Ace Cassadine (Jay and Joey Clay) — while she’s searching frantically for his father, Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss). Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) is at the penthouse, too, but he’s barely tolerating her as a means of staying close to his baby brother.

So it’s understandable why Esme would fall easily for anyone who throws her a bone right now. But is Austin throwing it out there for the right reasons?

GH Spoilers – Leak Austin Gatlin Holt Could Have His Own Agenda

Just when she thought she was destined to be judged and ostracized by those around her, Austin is going to come into Esme’s life and see through all the noise. He sees the caring friend that she needs and will offer the support and trust that she is so desperately craving.

General Hospital fans are still waiting for the “boss lady” dishing out orders to Mason Gatlin (Nathanyael Grey) to be revealed, as well as the real reason Austin came to town, and clarification on whether Maxie Jones’ (Kirsten Storms) kids are still in danger because of his connections. But we wouldn’t be the slightest bit surprised if Austin gets embroiled in a new romance before tying up those loose ends.

However, would it be socially acceptable for the doctor to hook up with Esme — a known criminal many years his junior? It’s possible that he could be luring Esme in for another reason — and we’ll be kept in the dark about that for a while, too.

General Hospital Spoilers — Ava Jerome Will Be Scorned

Can we take a moment to picture Ava’s face when she learns Austin is wooing Esme — the bane of her existence? Austin was supposed to be her friend! He did help her stash an allegedly dead body, after all.

They’re currently being yanked around by Mason as he holds that truth over their heads, so what gives? Perhaps there’s more to this than meets the eye, but is Austin going to let Ava in on the secret?
