GH Spoilers: Esme Runs Off To California, Hooks Up With Cam?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Esme Prince (Avery Pohl) may make good on her statement she made after her baby Ace Cassadine (Jay and Joey Clay) was kidnapped. As any mother would be, Esme was panic stricken and vowed to leave Port Charles as soon as she got him back.

Sensible Mayor Laura Collins (Genie Francis) talked her down but she was hysterical and injured in the kidnapping and not thinking straight. Esme is frightened and has seen Port Chuck as nothing but trouble, filled with people who don’t like her (for good reason).

Laura has bent over backward for Esme, but in the end it may not be enough. Explosive show spoilers reveal that Esme and Ace will eventually be reunited but Esme is terrified of another Cassadine coming out of the woodwork to ruin her life.

Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) and Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) have shown their worst sides to Esme so she is right to fear for her future.

And, if Esme’s amnesia clears that might be reason enough for her to take Ace and run. After all, if her memories came back she could go to trial for all the crimes she committed. There are lots of reasons why Esme may abscond with her baby, and she actually tried it before Cameron Webber (William Lipton) stopped her.

Cameron was kind to Esme before he left town for Stanford University. The show has stated that he will be back this summer. Given the way he came to Esme’s defense, it could be that the show dropped a major hint about these two hooking up when he comes home.

Then again, would Esme fly out there with Ace and run into Cameron either accidently or on purpose?

If Esme is in Cali, Cam might convince Esme to return with Ace to Port Charles. Then again, with all that has happened to her in Port Chuck, Esme may just decide that this is not where she wants to raise her baby.
