General Hospital (GH) spoilers suggest that the Haunted Star kidnapping storyline could be wrapping up. Actor Charles Shaughnessy (Victor Cassadine) has officially exited the soap, so hopefully, Ace Cassadine (Jay and Joey Clay), Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez), Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati), and Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) will all make it safely back to Port Charles soon. But what drama awaits the clan in the aftermath of this all?
General Hospital Spoilers – Esme Prince Hated The Cassadines Before This, Her Distrust Will Increase
GH spoilers suggest that Victor will get a major villain send-off, so he won’t likely be a threat to the little town (or the world) much longer. With that said, Esme Prince (Avery Pohl) had some major walls built up about the Cassadine family prior to all this. Every parent’s worst nightmare is their child being kidnapped, and Esme has to live this, day in and day out, right now.
While Spencer did not kidnap his brother, Victor’s actions symbolize the potential threat that all the Cassadines bring to Esme and Ace. They have the money, power, and resources to overpower Prince and snatch her little boy at any time. She’ll be so traumatized by the recent events; she’ll take extreme action.
GH Spoilers – Esme Price Works Overtime To Keep Spencer Cassadine Away From Ace
As soon as her baby is returned to her, Esme will feel as if she wants no one from the Cassadines near her child. She may even insist to Laura Collins (Genie Francis) that she move out of her house or Spencer go. With Victor and his father “gone”, Spence will probably inherit the Cassadine fortune; regardless, he is at an age and has the money to move out of his grandmother’s house and live somewhere on his own. His Uncle Sonny may allow him to move back in or set him up somewhere else.
Still, that doesn’t mean Spence won’t try to reason with Esme. After all, he didn’t take Ace, and was willing to be a pawn in Victor’s game if this uncle sent his brother back to Port Charles; this is something Trina could attest to. At the end of the day, Spencer loves and wants to protect his brother, and he’s no threat. Will Esme see it that way, eventually?
Could Esme keep Spence away from his baby brother? Will someone reason with her and change her mind? Have your say, below! Check out General Hospital on ABC to see how this storyline will unfold and visit this site for the most up-to-date General Hospital spoilers and news.
