GH Spoilers: Esme Plants Seeds Of Doubt — Are Trina And Dex More Than Friends?

General Hospital spoilers reveal Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) is growing rather fond of Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez), but Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) is still in the way.

Sure, she could leave town and hope that Spencer stuck to his word and followed her, but he wouldn’t be very happy with her then either.

She needs to get Trina out of the way without disrupting the good thing she has going with Spencer at the same time.

So perhaps the best way to do that is by ruffling Spencer’s feathers and making him think someone else is disrupting what he has going with Trina.

General Hospital Spoilers — Trina Robinson Confided In Dex Heller

Last week, we saw Trina open up to Dex about the myriad of issues weighing heavily on her heart. She has really been going through it, the poor girl.

She wasn’t sure if she should have moved home at a time like this, especially given that her parents were in rough shape before Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) ever got shot.

It would make sense that they might need some time and space to figure out where their marriage is headed.

But Trina and Spencer agreed that they should keep their relationship low-key around her mom for a while, and now she’s just made it even harder on their relationship by moving back in at home.

Dex was a good sounding board for Trina, and she’s not going to forget that when she takes a stab at leaning on him again.

GH Spoilers – Suggest Esme Prince Paints A Picture

The next time Trina and Dex are whispering about her feelings as she tries to stop herself from having an emotional meltdown, they might look just a smidgen too comfortable with each other.

Could a hug from Dex send the wrong message to onlookers like Esme, who will be eager to report back to Spencer about what she saw?

Of course, he would run to Trina right away with questions, and she would be quick to keep Esme on her radar as someone who is trying to kick up dust in her relationship.

It may help Esme more to stay off Trina’s radar by hinting to Spencer that there is something more than meets the eye and letting him be the one to put those pieces together — even if they’re all in his head.

General Hospital Spoilers — Spencer Cassadine’s Distrust Grows

As Spencer grows silently more resentful toward Trina and the distrust between them grows, so will the space he puts there.

While he’s cooped up with Esme co-parenting his baby brother, there hasn’t been much space for Trina at Laura Collins’ (Genie Francis) place.

To add insult to injury, Spencer won’t be headed to Trina’s parents’ place to kick it with her either.

Without much time to spend with one another, coupled with Esme’s doubts in the back of Spencer’s mind, he may come to start spending a lot more time with Esme.
