GH Spoilers: Esme Is Starting To Remember The Past — But She Won’t Tell A Soul

General Hospital (GH) spoilers suggest Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) has begun to remember the events of her life prior to washing up on the Haunted Star — freezing and very pregnant.

The first flashback she had was while decorating a Christmas tree with Ace Cassadine (Jay and Joey Clay) in her arms. That moment took her back to a similar time last year when she was dolling up the tree Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) gave her to keep in the tower over the holiday season.

Adorning it with makeshift ornaments while talking to her baby bump and anxiously awaiting her son’s arrival was the first memory that returned to Esme’s mind — and it hit her like a ton of bricks.

General Hospital Spoilers — Trina Robinson May Have Knocked Something Loose

Just before she went back to her new place to decorate the tree with her son for their first Christmas together, Esme was arguing in the hallway at Laura Collins’ (Genie Francis) and Kevin Collins’ (Jon Lindstrom) with Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali).

Esme made it clear to Trina that even if she never remembers her own past, she knows it’s time to acknowledge the things she has done to Trina and her friends — and to learn from those mistakes.

GH Spoilers – Claim This Isn’t Convenient

Of course, as Esme continues to recall other memories, she’s going to be torn between having the nerve to admit she did all that everyone suspects her of.

She won’t want to go to jail or have to endure a lengthy criminal trial — and as long as she keeps her lips zipped about whatever she remembers, she won’t have to.

But not being able to let anyone know she has remembered things is going to be a bigger challenge to keep quiet than she currently realizes.

General Hospital Spoilers — Spencer Cassadine’s Way In

Before Esme moved out of Laura and Kevin’s place, it was clear that Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) was becoming something of a father to Ace, more so than his big brother.

In hindsight, he knows that wasn’t the healthiest move, but he also doesn’t want Ace to grow up without a father figure. Heck, he doesn’t want Ace to grow up without him.

Esme knows this. So the return of her memories is only going to make her cling to the newest version of herself more in hopes that no one ever realizes she remembered anything.

If she went to jail, Spencer would most certainly be first in line to claim her son, and she can’t have that.
