GH Spoilers: Esme And Heather Are Bound To Reunite — How Will This Play Out?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) is about to get her wish and doesn’t even know it. Soon, she will be reunited with her long-lost birth mother, Heather Webber (Alley Mills), but the reunion won’t be without its hiccups.

Esme is going to embrace her mommy, and she might be overwhelmed by feelings she didn’t know she had, but there’s another cog in this equation that could cause a few problems. Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) will have to answer some tough questions, and they’ll all have to figure out what their family looks like moving forward as three criminals — one of them on the run.

The more her pregnancy progresses, the more Esme starts to feel like a mother — with the instincts to boot! Welcoming her own child soon will certainly bring things full circle for Esme as she also meets her own birth mother during this journey. Esme wasn’t sure she would ever even know the name of her birth mom, much less meet her this early in her search and in Port Charles, commiserating with her birth dad from behind bars.

Esme is going to be over the moon, but it won’t take long for reality to set in, and a slew of questions to start forming as she tries to make Heather’s sudden appearance — and Ryan’s knowledge of it — make sense.

GH Spoilers – Hint Ryan Chamberlain  Will Have Some Explaining to Do

One of the biggest questions Esme is likely to have is how long Ryan knew Heather was her birth mother, and why he pretended he had no idea who she was or even what her name was. Why was he intent to conceal her identity from Esme all this time? Will Esme believe whatever excuse he offers up? Will Heather cover for Ryan, or throw him under the bus in an attempt to scoop up all of Esme’s affection for herself? Certainly, Ryan can’t pretend he was trying to protect Esme from her mother when they are two peas in a pod.

Ryan isn’t the only one on the hook, though. Esme is going to have more questions for Heather than her birth mother is likely able to answer, and how many she will answer honestly is anyone’s guess. However, Heather could paint it like Ryan is the bad guy she fled from, but Heather genuinely seems interested in staying connected to Ryan, and even in reconnecting in certain ways we’d rather not explore.
