GH Spoilers: Elizabeth Goes To The Police And Ava Freaks

General Hospital spoilers reveal Elizabeth coming clean with the cops as another mystery at Wyndemere gets going.

Despite the fact that Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst) has never been a pure and perfect squeaky-clean character, she has been insisting it is not like her to cover for Nikolas Cassadine’s (Adam Huss) crimes and keep a pregnant teenager locked in a tower. To that end, Elizabeth tells all to the PCPD and Robert Scorpio, but things do not go badly for her as the DA decides not to press charges.

General Hospital Spoilers – What The Heck Is Going On With Ava Jerome?

Still, General Hospital spoilers show Rebecca Herbst can explain her character’s motives. She just didn’t want to be scared anymore. “[Elizabeth] has decided she doesn’t want to live her life waiting for the other shoe to drop,” Herbst said in the March 6, 2023, issue of Soap Opera Digest. “She had been through that before with the whole ‘hiding Peter August’ thing. She’s lived with constantly looking over her shoulder and she doesn’t want that again.”

However, Elizabeth can feel there is something strange afoot when Ava Jerome (Maura West) learns what she is up to with the police and goes into complete panic. Ava doesn’t want police at Wyndemere poking around. It’s bad enough what happened with Ryan Chamberlin (Jon Lindstrom). She certainly doesn’t want the cops to find Nikolas’ decomposing body — if there really is a body, as that still remains a mystery. Too bad Ava is really obvious about her concerns, which raises Elizabeth’s suspicions that Ava is hiding something.

“She did pick up on the fact that Ava was trying too hard,” Herbst said. “It is definitely on her radar that there was something too forceful about Ava trying to get her not to go to the police.”

What will the cops find on Spoon Island — or what will they not find when all is said and done? It’s not like Ava ever checked for a pulse and Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth) has been acting extremely strange whenever Ava mentions moving Nik’s body.
