GH Spoilers: Elizabeth Gets Ready To Say Goodbye To Cameron, Laura Wants To Talk About Nikolas

General Hospital (GH) spoilers and updates tease in this week’s Sneak Peek, Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) gets ready to say goodbye to her son Cameron Webber (William Lipton). As Laura Collins (Genie Francis) sympathizes with Elizabeth about missing her son, the mood changes when she wants to talk to her about her own missing son-Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss).

General Hospital Spoilers – Cameron Webber Leaving For Stanford

Cameron recently got a scholarship to Stanford University, meaning he would be moving cross-country from Port Charles, New York to Stanford, California. He already told his little group of friends, including Spencer Cassadine, (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) Trina Robinson, (Tabyana Ali) and ex-girlfriend Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy). Elizabeth decided to have Cameron’s going away party in Charlie’s Pub, since he had worked at Kelly’s and just picked up his last check.

This is probably the first time they’ve celebrated anything since before the death of Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth). Laura comes to Charlie’s as Elizabeth is setting up for the party and talks to her.

GH Spoilers – Cameron Webber’s Brothers Helped

Elizabeth tells Laura that Cameron’s younger brothers helped, Jake Webber (Hudson West) with the decorations and Aiden Spencer (Enzo De Angelis) with the baking. Aiden, a budding baker in the tradition of the Eckert family, made the cake and Laura is sure he outdid himself, and asks how the brothers are dealing with Cameron’s move.

Elizabeth tells her that they are trying not to make a big deal about it, but she can tell that they’re sad to see him go. Laura notes they’re not the only ones, and she’s very proud of Cameron but can’t imagine walking into Kelly’s and not seeing him there, or just knowing he’s somewhere in town. Elizabeth says it’s all she can do to not fall apart every time she thinks about putting him on a plane to California; Laura empathizes, and says she knows.

General Hospital Spoilers – Incredible Opportunity, Incredible Absence

Elizabeth continues, saying it’s an incredible opportunity, with full scholarship, getting to play division one soccer and she just wants him to live a full and happy life. She asks Laura if that’s selfish, and Laura says no, it’s understandable, he’s her baby; Elizabeth says she wants to keep him there where she can keep an eye on him.

Laura says she knows that feeling, and then she looks down, and her mood changes to one of extreme seriousness, thinking of the incredible absence of her own son.

Laura tries to be gentle, but Elizabeth is one of the few in town who may have heard from Nikolas, who has now been missing for several weeks. She takes a deep breath, and says, “Elizabeth, honey-we need to talk about Nikolas”.
