GH Spoilers: Elizabeth And Portia Find Comfort In Each Others’ Mistakes

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) and Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) are about to grow pretty chummy with one another as they come to realize they share something pretty substantial in common — they both lied to protect the people they loved and it blew up in their faces and cost them nearly everything.

Elizabeth is still waiting for the full range of repercussions of her choices to wash over her life and settle the score, but she’s ready to accept whatever is coming her way. Portia, on the other hand, is desperate to do anything she can to make it all go away. Will Elizabeth be able to help Portia reconcile with herself over what she’s done and that it may not get better?

Portia needs someone to talk to who isn’t going to judge her, and it seems like Elizabeth is just the person. Nurse Baldwin has made her fair share of mistakes while knowing she was making them the entire time and trying to dodge the consequences of the truth. So when Portia tells her that she kept the truth about Trina Robinson’s (Tabyana Ali) possible paternity a secret for her entire life, Elizabeth is going to understand more than Portia could possibly have realized.

When Elizabeth returns the sentiment and confides in Portia that she has also lied about her son’s paternity, and shares with her the most recent mistake she made in forming an alliance with Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss), Portia will be stunned. Knowing that Elizabeth has made such egregious mistakes is going to take the edge off for Portia, though, and she might come to realize that in due time, Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) and Trina could come around and forgive her. Biding her time in the interim won’t be easy, but it might be comforting to know Elizabeth is in her corner.

General Hospital Spoilers — Portia Robinson Has To Accept Reality

Elizabeth’s biggest struggle was learning that she had to accept the truth about her life. This applied to not only her memory lapses and learning she had contributed to the death of Reiko Finn (Mele Ihara), but taking responsibility for what she did to Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl).

Elizabeth may advise Portia to try to do the same, noting that a weight was lifted when she told the PCPD the truth, and even more so when she came clean with Esme and Cameron ‘Cam’ Webber (William Lipton). Elizabeth freed herself from the chains of her lies, and she may encourage Portia to do the same by admitting to Curtis and Trina what she was really afraid of — losing them.
