GH Spoilers: Eddie & Brook Lynn Link Up To Drop Beats — Will He Remember His Daughter?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers indicate Eddie Maine (Wally Kurth) is counting on Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) to come through with his promise of hooking him up with connections in the music industry that can catapult him into the spotlight. Eddie has no designs on staying in Port Charles unless it’s going to be advantageous for him to get his singing career on track. So when Sonny taps Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) to assist him as his music agent, Eddie will be taken aback and wonder if he’s being played. Is this just another way for Sonny to keep him in close quarters with the Quartermaine’s?

It might surprise Eddie to learn that Brook Lynn didn’t ask Sonny to do her this favor. Instead, it will be Sonny who has to negotiate with Brook Lynn to make it happen. This is a very painful time for her and watching her father carry on as though he is someone else who doesn’t even remember her isn’t her idea of a good time. Maybe it would help her relaunch her own career in the music industry, but at what personal cost? It’s going to take a lot for Brook Lynn to be comfortable letting Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) pretend he’s not her father and acting like she’s cool with it.

Fortunately, Eddie knows beggars can’t be choosers and he won’t get nearly as far on his own without Sonny’s connections giving him a leg-up. He’ll jump on board and this plan will pay off in spades for Brook Lynn as she notices her father starting to peek out from behind Eddie’s eyes. As Eddie starts to express himself in ways that remind Brook Lynn of her dad, she might become more comfortable with this arrangement — and with dragging things out so she can spend more time influencing her father.

But Brook Lynn isn’t the only one who will be hard at work influencing Eddie. Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) is going to come up in conversation with Eddie more times than Brook Lynn is comfortable with. When she relays this information to Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard), it could be just the push they needed to dig into why Nina was hesitant to jump in and help when she saw Ned fall at the pool.
