GH Spoilers: Eddie And Nina’s Secret Pact-Will It Create A Secret Bond When Ned’s Memories Return?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers and updates tease Eddie Maine aka Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) and Nina Reeves’ (Cynthia Watros) secret pact might create a secret bond. When Ned’s memories return and he’s integrated back to his other self, he might appreciate Nina’s acceptance of him as Eddie, and want to keep her around.

General Hospital Spoilers – Eddie Maine Has Tried A Little Kindness

Eddie’s tried a little kindness since first waking up from his hospital bed and barking at his family, who he didn’t recognize or accept, to stay away from him.

Eddie doesn’t want anything to do with anything Quartermaine, although he did manage to act kind to Leo Quartermaine (Easton Rocket Sweda). He recognized he’d hurt the little boy, and wanted to make up for that even if he didn’t want to be his father.

He has no interest in being a husband to Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) either, for that matter although he has been a little more sensitive to her as well.

But his one true friendship seems to be with Nina, who accepts him as plain old Eddie and doesn’t push him to live a life he doesn’t remember as Ned.

GH Spoilers – Similar Situation To “Mike” In Nixon Falls

This seems to have some very obvious parallels to when Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) was in Nixon Falls, and knew himself only as “Mike”. It was a whole different personality as “Mike” and only very recently has Sonny began acting like Sonny again.

Although Nina isn’t trying to be obvious, she does have some ulterior motives in wanting Eddie to stay Eddie-Ned knows some information that she doesn’t want to get out.

Right before his tumble in the pool, he’d confronted her about turning Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) and Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) into the SEC.

Of course, Nina can’t have that coming out so she wants Ned to stay Eddie as long as possible, preferably forever!

General Hospital Spoilers – Eddie Maine Taken Aback By Something He Discovers

During the week of July 31, Eddie will be taken aback by something he discovers. What if he overhears Nina talking to someone, maybe Ava Jerome (Maura West) about the SEC situation, possibly Carly’s big fine or Drew’s incarceration?

He could hear her worrying about the truth coming out and ruining her relationships with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen).

But, since she’s treated him the way he wants to be treated, maybe “Neddie’ will give her a pass-and keep her secret.

On the other hand, Ned could come back to himself, hear a conversation like that and determine to take her down!
