GH Spoilers: Did Charlotte Act Out Badly And Set Fire To Anna’s House-Is That Why Valentin Lied?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers and rumors tease Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez) could have been so traumatized by her mother’s coma and everything else she’s been through she could have acted out badly.

Charlotte could have felt so threatened by Valentin Cassadine’s (James Patrick Stuart) relationship with Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) she set fire to her house-Valentin lying about his whereabouts to protect her.

General Hospital Spoilers – Charlotte Cassadine Has Lived A Lot Of Life In A Few Scary Years

Charlotte is now around thirteen or fourteen, likely with raging teenage hormones, and those can cause mood swings-she’s lived a lot of life in a few scary years.

First she had to adjust to Lulu Spencer (Emme Rylan) being her birth mother, spending time between her papa and Lulu and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna).

Then, after she’d bonded to her, Lulu was injured and fell into an indeterminate coma, and Valentin and Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) divorced, Charlotte bonded to Nina also.

Then Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) reappeared, and kidnapped her, putting her in a foreign boarding school away from family and friends for several months.

Valentin’s gone on a lot of missions and nearly died on two, after she was rescued from Victor-even though he’s done his best considering the circumstances, that’s a lot of insecurity.

GH Spoilers – Charlotte Cassadine Sad And Upset

Recently, while Valentin was in Chechnya looking for Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) Dante took Charlotte to see Lulu, and she was sad and upset.

When Valentin picked her up from Dante and Sam McCall’s (Kelly Monaco) house, he told Dante to ask first, because seeing Lulu upsets Charlotte.

But Anna was the first one he checked on when he first returned, followed by Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) who he’d promised Laura Collins (Genie Francis) he’d check in on.

Charlotte was his last stop, and shortly thereafter a small person was seen outside Anna’s house, and the house was set on fire-and Valentin was caught in a lie.

He said he was at ELQ taking care of a plumbing issue, and security cameras proved he wasn’t-Anna noted the arsonist wanted to take everything from her; Valentin is Charlotte’s everything.

General Hospital Spoilers – Did Valentin Cassadine Lie To Protect Charlotte Cassadine?

Valentin had gone to take care of some business, making a phone call while Anna went out on a run, when a small person hiding in the bushes struck.

The person used kerosene and a lighter to set Anna’s house on fire, and it was fully engulfed when Anna returned.

Valentin was only intending to be gone a short time, could he have returned while Anna was jogging and caught Charlotte after she set the fire?

A father lying about his whereabouts trying to protect his obviously emotionally disturbed daughter would not be surprising.

Charlotte may be jealous of Anna and Papa always running to her rescue; shortly after, Valentin took Charlotte to dinner and promised it would be the two of them again.
