GH Spoilers: Diane Is Onto Nina — And Warns Carly

General Hospital spoilers tease Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) is inches away from being onto Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) — and she won’t waste time before reporting her findings to her boss, and his ex-lady love.

Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) has been pretty clear that he wants Diane to figure out who reported Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) to the SEC. Little does Sonny know that his own girlfriend, Nina, is behind all of it and hoping the mother of his children is soon sent off to federal prison to rot! As Diane dangles the truth in front of Nina — unaware that she’s dealing with the very person she’s searching for — Nina is going to cower in fear that Rome will soon fall.

Nina seems all too curious about what Diane is up to as she’s doing Sonny’s bidding. If she’s so interesting, why doesn’t she ask the don herself? Perhaps she doesn’t want to raise any suspicion. After all, Sonny knows Nina was talking to her attorney on the day this all went down. So if he learns that Martin ‘Marty’ Grey (Michael E. Knight) was behind any of it, he could connect the dots and know that Nina not only lied to him about that phone call that day, but she turned Carly in! As she tries to pry for information and lead Diane in a different direction, Diane is going to let Nina know she’s no match for her.

When Diane realized that Marty was behind all of this, she was quick to get to the bottom of it. It wouldn’t make any sense that Marty would be out for blood against Drew and Carly. So who put him up to it? Given that he’s an attorney — and willing to do almost anything for a price — virtually anyone could have hired Marty to do their dirty work. As he pretends to have done the right thing for the right reasons in an attempt to rid the streets of Port Charles of allegedly corrupt people, Diane isn’t going to buy it. Neither will anyone else.

When Nina claps back at Diane for putting her in her place, the suave attorney is going to make sure Carly hears all about it. She’s not typically one for gossip — outside of Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) — but Diane knows Carly is bent on figuring out who turned her in — almost as much as Sonny is! Would any harm come to anyone if Diane just gives the mafioso and his former Mrs a nudge in each others’ direction — on the heels of Nina sticking her nose in where it doesn’t belong?
