GH Spoilers: Dex’s Secret Footage Could Ruin The Corinthos Clan For Good

General Hospital (GH) spoilers suggest Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) may have another flash drive that no one knows about. GH has been teasing us with Dex’s broody disposition lately. It always seems as though there is something he isn’t saying, and we’re starting to think there is something to that. Dex seems to be pulled in every direction by the people around him. On one hand, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) is eager to let him climb the ranks in the business and prove himself.

On the other hand, Sonny didn’t trust him enough to clue him into what was going on with Betty Rutherford (Ella Lentini) and the Gatlins — and that bothered Dex more than he cared to admit. Josslyn ‘Joss’ Jacks (Eden McCoy) has let it slip one too many times that she wished Dex still had the flash drive so they could be done with Sonny once and for all. The look on his face afterward spoke volumes.

Is it possible that Dex actually does have a backup of that Pikeman footage and he’s holding onto it without Joss or anyone else knowing? Sure.

It’s equally possible that he has other plans for it — even if it means Dex has been lying to everyone all along. Is he here working his own agenda under the guise of helping Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell)? Maybe not.

The time he has spent working alongside Sonny could have given him an inside look at Sonny and Michael’s relationship — and Dex might not like what he sees. Is he angling to take his place?

GH Spoilers – Report Michael Corinthos Has Nearly Confessed

If Dex hopes to become like a son to Sonny, the last thing he wants is for the guy to go away for the rest of his life.

 That doesn’t mean the truth about that footage couldn’t come out — linking back to Michael — just enough for Sonny to grow wise to his son’s tricks.

Michael flocked to Sonny’s penthouse after his recent court hearing to apologize to his dad. It seemed like the truth was on the tip of his tongue, but he held back and didn’t tell his dad about his original intentions to put him behind bars.

That may only work in Dex’s favor if he gets to be the one who outs Michael when he least expects it.

If Dex forks that footage over to the police, Sonny would be done for good. It remains to be seen if that is what he actually wants.

However, the closer Michael starts to get to his father again, the more we might see Dex’s claws come out. For the entirety of Dex’s time knowing and working for Sonny, the don hasn’t been close with his son.

Now, that’s about to change. Will he grow more territorial as fans are expecting, or is Dex just here to take Sonny down and plans to take his whole family with him in the process?
