GH Spoilers: Dex Learns More Than He Ever Wanted To Know About Sonny

General Hospital spoilers suggest Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) is about to discover just how brutal his boss man can be when someone crosses him. Dex is new to the mob life. He came to Port Charles only as a private security contractor when Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell), and he hasn’t been all that interested in doing anything but fulfilling that job until more recently.

When Dex spotted a sniper recently in a warehouse, he didn’t blink before jumping in front of his alleged boss, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), and saving his life by taking the bullet himself.

That moment changed everything for Dex, and he’s going to be faced with a similar emotional reaction when he happens upon a rather disturbing discovery that really forces him to face the reality of Sonny’s world. Does he belong in it?

When Dex stumbles upon Deputy Mayor Eileen Ashby’s (Heather Mazur) dead body in the water, he’ll be shocked to find a city official had been brutally murdered by someone right there in Port Charles.

This shouldn’t surprise Dex, given the world he’s been living in — authentically or otherwise — but it will leave him wondering whodunnit. Could Sonny have been behind her death? Is that the kind of thing that happens when his boss is at risk?

GH Spoilers – Tease His Feelings Aren’t Only for Joss Jacks

So far, General Hospital spoilers show Dex’s devotion to Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and his plan to take Sonny down hasn’t needed checked. In fact, it’s been Michael who has tried to back out of this mess a few times, and Dex wouldn’t let him. In the mix of plotting Sonny’s epic takedown, Dex fell for his stepdaughter, Josslyn ‘Joss’ Jacks (Eden McCoy).

Their relationship is on pause right now as he tries to throw Sonny off his scent and keep him there, but he’s going to have a hard time shaking the feelings he’s developing for his boss and friend.

Dex was never supposed to fall for his mark, but he can’t lie to himself forever. He cares about what happens to Sonny and doesn’t necessarily want to see the guy locked up. Taking a bullet from him is certainly good evidence of that, which someone flew over Michael and Joss’ heads as though Dex was just that good at pretending to be Sonny’s right-hand man.
