GH Spoilers: Dex Is Shaking in His Boots As Sonny Reminds Him He’s Not To Be Messed With

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) didn’t seem to be hoping his boss would be sent to prison, but hearing the judge dismiss the case and leave Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) a free man was the last thing he expected.

Dex knew right away that something went down that he wasn’t clued in on, and it may have stung on some level since he’s grown so tight with the boss.

When Sonny let him know what was actually inside of that Pikeman shipment at the pier, Dex knew his place in the business wasn’t at Sonny’s side. How will he take this slight rejection?

General Hospital Spoilers — It Wasn’t The Flash Drive

Before the moment that Sonny was set free, Dex felt certain that he must have contributed to getting him in front of the judge that day.

He is confident that he tossed that flash drive, and yet he didn’t seem to think it was out of the realm of possibilities that the feds came into the information on it anyway.

Dex has questioned Michael Corinthos’ (Chad Duell) involvement ever since. Hearing the feds say they didn’t actually have the evidence they needed left Dex perplexed, and Sonny’s explanation that they found nothing more than coffee beans left him feeling furious and dejected.

T became abundantly clear to Dex right away that Sonny had someone else helping him to orchestrate this trap for the FBI.

He wasn’t going to chance laying this trap with anyone too novice, and like it or not, Dex is just that.

Sonny has given him the pep talk on how to move up in the ranks, but Dex seems to have had his heart set on that prematurely, and is only disappointed now that the spot he aims to hold is already taken by Brick (Stephen A. Smith).

General Hospital Spoilers — Dex Heller Doesn’t Handle Rejection Well

It’s possible that the look of terror on Dex’s face when Sonny revealed to him that it was all a set-up on the pier could have meant he was far more angered by Sonny leaving him out of the loop than he let on.

Could he have taken offense by being iced out of the inner circle and played like everyone else in that courtroom? If so, will Dex seek to lay a trap of his own — for Sonny?

Will we finally find out whether Dex has another copy of that Pikeman deal with Sonny that he could turn over?

The judge and Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) made it very clear to Sonny that the charges were dismissed without prejudice, meaning they can be filed again should the right evidence appear. Is that foreshadowing we sense?
