GH Spoilers: Dante Tries To Reason With Michael — Sonny Pays A Price?

General Hospital spoilers hint Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) will surprise himself when he works to save his father’s criminal empire from being blown to bits. In recent months, we’ve learned that Dante isn’t all that he appears to be. In fact, there’s a dirty little secret lurking in his past that apparently only he and Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) know, and that’s bound to come to light sooner or later.

However, Dante’s character is going to come into question first when he decides to follow his heart instead of his badge of honor. He’ll risk everything when he meddles in his family affairs and tries to protect his dad from Michael Corinthos’ (Chad Duell) takedown. Will he be the next officer to be given the boot off the force?

General Hospital Spoilers — Sonny Corinthos Is Under Siege

Dante has been concerned for months that Sonny may not be treating his associates well. When Michael and Josslyn ‘Joss’ Jacks (Eden McCoy) led him to believe something fishy was happening with Dex and they couldn’t reach him — Dante assumed his father may have done something to harm the guy.

Tracking Dex down at his apartment later, General Hospital spoilers indicate Dante realized there were bruises on his wrists, but Dex wasn’t talking. Bumping into him again on New Year’s Eve, Dex was tight-lipped when Dante asked if he wanted to change his story about what happened to him.

As far as Dante has been concerned, his father, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), is the bad guy, not Dex. So he’s going to be stunned when he learns it’s just the opposite.

When Dante haphazardly learns that Michael has hired Dex to do away with Sonny’s business, he’s going to be furious. Understandably, Michael is hurting and wants his father to pay for the things he’s done to harm their family.

However, this choice to blow up his business would have consequences that the entire family has to face for years to come — including his little sisters who are still young and need their father.

Dante knows what it’s like to grow up without that father figure in his life, and he can’t believe Michael would entertain being the one responsible for taking that away from them. Still, Michael isn’t going to listen to his reasonable argument favoring letting bygones be bygones.

General Hospital Spoilers — Everyone Is At Risk

Dante is right. Everyone is in danger if Michael’s plan works out. This may cause Mikey to break a sweat, since he knows Dex and Joss are more committed than ever to seeing this through.

Even if he wanted to call it off, he can’t — unless Dante is willing to help him. If they let this carry on, Donna Corinthos (Scarlett Spears) and Avery Corinthos (Grace Scarola) will grow up without a dad, and the entire family will be in danger with no security measures buffering them from anyone who seeks retaliation on Sonny by way of harming his family.
