GH Spoilers: Cyrus’ Release Is Just The Beginning Of Trina’s Problems

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) was hardly ready for the moment Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) walked into the Jerome Gallery pretending he was there to make amends and ask for her forgiveness — something she promised him he would never get from her.

It was clear right away that Trina was far from over the terror that this man had put her through — holding her at gunpoint with her mother, Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr).

before telling him to “get the hell out” of the gallery. Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) was quick to defend his girlfriend and usher his uncle toward the door, but not so quick that he left Trina feeling sure of where his loyalties lie.

That sure is a question on her mind lately. As she continues to fret over Spencer’s commitment to her, she’ll have more problems than just worrying whether Cyrus is going to come after her again.

Cyrus was on the loose and doing everything he could to escape police custody. He thought he might be able to get out of Port Charles without being noticed, but he thought wrong.

When the police cornered him at Portia’s townhome, he had locked himself inside with two hostages — Portia and Trina. This young girl saw her whole life flash before her eyes and she’s not looking forward to ever experiencing that again.

Every time she sees Cyrus, it sets her back. Now, knowing he’s out there running the streets again and could come for her at any time is going to leave her rather rattled.

In the year following this horrible trauma with Cyrus, Trina’s anxiety was lit ablaze as Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) framed her for distributing revenge porn — with her best friends being in the star roles they never knew they were auditioning for.

Not only did Trina have to stand trial and endure the stress of such, but she lost Spencer in the process. Furthermore, she now has to tolerate knowing Esme got away with it all — at least thus far — and she must share her boyfriend, Spencer, with Esme.

The trauma never really stops for Trina and just replays on a loop. How strong can one girl be expected to be?

Speaking of sharing Spencer with Esme, Trina is finding it more and more difficult to grin and bear it as Spencer puts Ace Cassadine (Jay and Joey Clay) ahead of everything else in his life.

She understands he loves his baby brother, but his refusal to let go of him and treat him as just that is concerning to Trina. Is this really all about Ace, or does Spencer wish that Esme’s baby was his own?
