GH Spoilers: Curtis’ Secret — Not Portia’s — Will Be the End Of Them

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) is about to find out his new wifey has told him the biggest lie anyone has ever delivered unto him in his life. Her daughter — Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) — may be his daughter, too. Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) was truly willing to let Curtis spend the rest of his life believing Trina was just his stepdaughter when she may be much more than that.

He may not be able to overlook that, even when it turns out Trina isn’t his daughter after all. That’s right, Trina isn’t actually Curtis’ daughter and the lie will have been all for nothing — but it could nearly cost Portia her marriage. That being said, what ultimately does this couple in won’t be the secret Portia kept, but the one Curtis is about to.

When Curtis realizes Portia has lied to him for twenty years — and that she’s been selling him a tall tale the entire time they’ve been back together since she returned to Port Charles, he’s going to find it impossible that they can bounce back from that.

Certainly, if he couldn’t forgive Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) for the milder lies she told during his marriage to her, he cannot forgive Portia for this. At that moment, he’s not going to believe anything but his marriage to Portia is over before it really has a chance to begin.

Recovering from this blow won’t come easy, and Curtis is going to find the fastest way to stem the pain of what Portia has done is to give into the urge to pick up where he left off with Jordan. When he finds out that Jordan never botched their divorce but actually covered for the person who did — Stella Henry (Vernee Watson).

It’s going to make Curtis question whether Jordan has been looking out for him and his family more all along than even Portia was. Seeing her in a different light will lead to Curtis and Jordan hooking up in the afterglow of his wedding to Portia.

Everything always looks different in the morning light, and Curtis and Jordan are both going to regret the choice they made in hindsight. When Curtis leaves, Jordan will know he’s going home to his wife, and she’s clearly not the type to kiss and tell. She has no interest in trying to prevent Curtis from working things out with Portia, but that doesn’t mean Curtis will feel problem-free.

This will ring even more true when a paternity test confirms Marcus Taggert (Réal Andrews) is Trina’s father. Portia may have kept a secret, but in the end, everything else remains the same.
