GH Spoilers: Curtis’ Needs an Organ Transplant — and His Supposedly Dead Mother Will Come Through

General Hospital (GH) spoilers say Curtis Ashford’s (Donnell Turner) family is about to be rocked by yet another DNA scandal, and no one will see it coming. Being shot at the Metro Court pool was the last thing on Curtis’ to-do list.

While everyone works to figure out if Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) or Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) were the target, no one has any clue that the bullet could’ve been meant for Curtis, thanks to his business dealings with mob queen Selina Wu (Lydia Look).

Regardless, Curtis will be in rough shape in the weeks ahead — and in need of a transplant that is most likely to come from a family member.

Curtis will be in dire need of a transplant to go on having a fully functioning lifestyle. Perhaps he sustained damage to his organs that wasn’t repairable during surgery, but it’s going to leave him hospitalized until they can come up with a solution that gives him a fair shot at a normal life.

Fortunately, Curtis has more family to rely on than most might in this situation, and they’ll all be ready and willing to get tested as potential donors.

GH Spoilers Suggest Stella is a Match

Marshall Ashford (Robert Gossett), Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali), and TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) will line up to be tested as soon as they can, but it will be Stella Henry (Vernee Watson) who is the best match for her nephew.

Stella won’t waste a moment before asking how soon the transplant process can happen, but Curtis’ medical team might advise that his body needs a bit more time to heal before he can sustain another surgery. During this waiting period, everything will change.

It won’t be uncommon to see Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) checking over Curtis’ medical records. It pays to have a wife who speaks doctor. But Portia is going to wish she had never gone poking around his medical records when she notices information in his file and Stella’s that indicate she is not his aunt, but his mother.

Portia knows this news would devastate her husband and the last thing she wants is to deliver him information that could cause a setback in his recovery — or worse, could lead him to refuse Stella’s help.
