GH Spoilers: Curtis Confides In Marshall, How Can He Ever Trust Portia Again?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers and updates tease Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) will confide in his father, Marshall Ashford (Robert Gossett). Curtis tells his father he doesn’t know how he can ever trust his new bride Portia Robinson Ashford (Brook Kerr) again.

General Hospital Spoilers – The Big Lie

Portia had held onto the big lie for over twenty years, and had even denied to Curtis that Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) was his daughter when they first reconnected. Truth be told, Portia didn’t really know whether she was Curtis or Marcus Taggert’s (Réal Andrews) and she didn’t want to know, apparently. All those years she had never done any kind of test to see whose daughter Trina was – she, as a doctor, could have swabbed drinking glasses and compared them herself.

Curtis tells Marshall that Portia offered nothing but excuses when he demanded answers. He doesn’t know if he can ever trust her again and is considering a quick annulment.

GH Spoilers – Marshall Ashford Offers Wise Advice

Marshall listens to Curtis and offers some wise advice, after asking him a pertinent question; does he really want to know if Trina is his? If so, it might not be wise to rush into a bad breakup and an annulment because Portia might not want to do a paternity test. Trina might not want to do one either, preferring to keep the daddy who counts, the one who she grew up with being her daddy. Trina has had issues with Curtis acting like a father towards her anyway, preferring to let Marcus do all her protection details with the Hook still on the loose. Marshall tells Curtis just not to rush into any decisions just yet, and definitely demand a paternity test so that all concerned will know for sure.

General Hospital Spoilers – Why Won’t Women Just Tell The Truth?

This may be Curtis and Marshall’s very first father son talk, and they get into some pretty deep issues-Curtis asks why won’t women just tell the truth? He’s been with two women who tell lies – first Jordan Ashford, (Tanisha Harper) and now Portia; she even lied by omission when they were together before. Marshall asks Curtis, how so; Curtis tells him that Portia didn’t volunteer the information that she was married, he found out from mutual people they knew!

Curtis was the one who broke up with her and it was quite the ugly breakup back then, and he wouldn’t even give her a chance to explain her actions. He pretty much just bolted from her life and never looked back – feeling back then, like now, lied to and betrayed; Marshall advises give it some time.
