GH Spoilers: Constance Towers Reprises Her Helena Cassadine Role During May Sweeps

GH spoilers (GH) spoilers hint that plenty of plot twists are on the horizon in Port Charles. According to the Actress Constance Towers Facebook page, Helena Cassadine is set to return to the little town, just in time for May Sweeps. It’s being reported that she taped two episodes, so it seems like Helena will make a small comeback to GH in a matter of weeks.

GH spoilers note that two shows Helena will appear on will be the Friday, May 5th, and Monday, May 8th episodes. Due to pre-emptions that can occur from time to time, these days may change.

It’s likely that Ms. Cassadine will appear in someone’s dream or as a ghost; however, this is the land of daytime drama, so anything is possible. With that said, the last time the actress reprised her role on GH was in January 2022, when Helena was seen via video (taped while she was still alive) during Luke Spencer’s (Tony Geary) memorial, gloating over his death.

GH Spoilers – The History Of Helena Cassadine In Port Charles

Helena Cassadine first emerged on the GH scene in 1981. At that point in time, legendary film icon Elizabeth Taylor originated the role as a guest star for the soap, during Luke and Laura Spencer’s (Genie Francis) wedding.

Actress Dimitra Arliss briefly took over the role in July 1996, only for Towers to be recast as Helena in December 1997. Her initial run ended in 2002, and Constance still made some appearances here and there, until the character *seemingly* met her demise in 2015.

How will Helena re-appear this time around? It’s hard to say. There is so much drama going on between the Cassadine family, her “ghost” could visit a number of people, from Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) to Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart), Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) or one of the Davis girls. Only time will tell
