GH Spoilers: Cody Finally Swallows His Pride, Admits His DNA Test Lie To Mac?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers and rumors tease that Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) might finally swallow his pride, and admit his DNA test lie to Mac Scorpio (John J. York). Cody took a huge step towards doing that when he went to send Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) to the PCPD to keep Sasha Corbin (Sofia Mattsson) from making a big mistake.

General Hospital Spoilers – True Confessions To Sam McCall

As he waited for Dante to come downstairs and talked with Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) he made some true confessions that were difficult for him to admit. The Ice Princess necklace and his failed romance with Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) came up and he admitted his greed caused him to make a lot of mistakes. Sam gave him a pass, acknowledging that he had made great strides in leaving behind his con man ways since Britt’s death.

Afterwards, Cody was doing some deep thinking about that decision to lie about the paternity test thinking he’d get that gem studded necklace. He pulled out his phone and looked at his contact list, where Mac had put in his private number if he wanted to talk.

GH Spoilers – Cody Bell Considers His Life

Cody considers his life and how he’s grown up without a father, although he remembers Dante as kids and how he grew up without one too and came out just fine. How much weirder could it get for him, being a law and order guy and becoming a cop, and finding out his birth father was a mobster? Almost as bad as the man he’d always assumed was his birth father, Leopold Taub (Chip Lucia)-he was relieved to find out it was Mac. He was glad it wasn’t Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) and imagines Scott is glad too, considering he decked him a good one first time they met. That was because of greed too-being angry that his mother’s legacy was squandered on a bunch of dolphins by his tree hugger half-sister!

General Hospital Spoilers – Cody Bell Swallows His Pride And Calls

Cody finally swallows his pride and gives Mac a call to meet in person, and he wants to buy him lunch. Between working for the Quartermaines at the stable and his other job at Selina Wu’s (Lydia Look) poker game he’s getting along fairly good. It’s nothing ostentatious, just a meet up at Kelly’s for a burger, and he apologizes, bringing along the test results.

He says he’s really sorry that he gave into his baser nature and his greed, thinking he was entitled to that necklace because of his mother’s husband. He’s even sorrier he lied, but as the two get to know each other over that burger, they begin to bond-and Mac’s really forgiving.
