GH Spoilers: Clues Hint “Neddie” Is “Eddie,” Really A DID Alter?

General Hospital spoilers and rumors tease “Eddie Maine” (Wally Kurth) may not be Ned Quartermaine’s (Wally Kurth) former stage persona in his current iteration. How would Eddie, who started his music career around 1993, know anything about a modern computer when personal computers back then were totally different?

General Hospital Spoilers – Eddie Maine Didn’t Even Remember His Wife

Current “Eddie” doesn’t even remember his ex-wife Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer) and actually nothing but a black guitar, and yet looked up Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) on the net? The computer he looked on and the methods of searching would be completely different than one a 1993 version of Eddie would have access to.

Eddie wouldn’t have used a computer although he may have as Ned, but in 1993 personal computers were the price a car is now-and the Q’s were in financial trouble.

If Eddie is historical Eddie Maine he knew he was Ned because he was living a double life, trying to get away from the repressive atmosphere of the Quartermaines and ELQ.

This Eddie not only doesn’t remember Ned he doesn’t remember much of anything about his life as Eddie-rather than an overlapping persona, might Ned have DID?

GH Spoilers – Could This Eddie Maine Be An Alter Who’s Surfaced?

Even though Ned had a traumatic brain injury that could cause amnesia, that doesn’t bring up a different personality; if this were really historical Eddie, he’d remember things about Eddie.

This Eddie seems more like a different person – could Ned have developed dissociative identity disorder and this Eddie be an alter who’s surfaced? That might make more sense given his behavior and his Eddie personality being much different than his double life Eddie ever was.

Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) gave the best psychological guess he could, given the situation-and his impending trip to Chechnya; a traumatic brain injury usually doesn’t cause DID to manifest.

General Hospital Spoilers – The New Eddie Maine Is Radically Different From The Original

The new Eddie is radically different from the original one, and especially with his quest to go to Las Vegas; Eddie and his band, “The Idle Rich” weren’t interested in Vegas.

They were strictly an East Coast band and his touring was all in the New York City area; although it is true many formerly famous singers go to Vegas. That’s because their aging fans who are usually pretty well to do go to Vegas to gamble and hear the famous singers of their youth.

More and more, this new Eddie seems like he might be an alter and Ned for whatever reason’s developed DID. Different personalities don’t remember what the others did.
