It seems that they don’t know what to do with Austin and have him kill Mason just to protect himself from getting exposed for his crimes. Doesn’t seem like they don’t have long-term plans for him.”

Fans took to the thread to speculate on this possible theory. Some don’t believe that Austin is leaving Port Charles anytime soon. Others don’t want to see him go. Most of the comments in the thread are mixed at best.

TJ leaves the room and doesn’t notice that Austin stopped killing Mason. He could end up as a main suspect, leading up to his departure from the show.
