GH Spoilers: Cassadine Paternity Tests Way Overdue-Is Ace Really A Cassadine?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers and updates tease Cassadine paternity tests are way overdue-from Victor and Valentin Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy, James Patrick Stuart) to the younger generation, nobody’s been tested! Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) and Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) just accepted Esmé Prince’s (Avery Kristen Pohl) word that Ace Prince-Cassadine (Joey and Jay Clay) is a Cassadine, just like Victor.

General Hospital Spoilers – Hungry For Heirs?

There seems to be something about Cassadine men that make them seem hungry for heirs, especially male ones. Of course, years back it was established that only male Cassadines could inherit, but how does that explain how Helena Cassadine (Constance Towers) got all of her money? Perhaps because her sons were all dead-except Valentin, if that story even is true-he took Victor’s word for it very easily.

Nikolas accepted Ace as his heir so quickly he tried to get Esmé to sign papers before he disappeared. You wouldn’t see Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) accept any children as his without proof-hence, the paternity test when Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier) got pregnant with Wiley Corinthos (Viron Weaver).

GH Spoilers – Was Esmé Prince Fooling Nikolas Cassadine All Along?

If the old Esmé was trying to get Nikolas’ money, since her own trust fund was cut off and Spencer’s was, and they weren’t together, maybe she lied. She was missing and presumed dead for several months before she reappeared pregnant-she could have slept with another man, even Oz Haggerty (Max Faugno) who she drugged.

Of course, he wound up dead, hooked by Heather Webber (Alley Mills) after he got Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) out of her charges so there’s no DNA of his to test. Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) didn’t appear to have any money to support his daughter with, and Heather wasn’t even in the picture back then. Why did Nikolas, Spencer, Victor, and even Laura Collins (Genie Francis) take her word her baby was Nikolas’?

General Hospital Spoilers – Might Liesl Obrecht Find Out The Truth?

Currently, Victor has Ace, Spencer, Trina and Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) all captive on the Haunted Star, with Liesl forced to create vaccines for the deadly pathogen he plans to unleash. Creating a vaccine and then using human trials involves checking the blood of those in the trial thoroughly; might Liesl stumble on the truth not finding Spencer and Ace a match? It would serve Victor right to put all his hope in an heir who didn’t even have Cassadine blood, and he certainly wouldn’t be happy.

But as for Esmé, and Ace when he’s rescued, Laura will still be a mama and grandma-after all, even if Ace isn’t Nikolas’ baby she’s Kevin Collins’ (Jon Lindstrom) niece. That keeps it all in the family!
