GH Spoilers: Carolyn Extends Her Stay in Port Chuck And Urges Lizzie Not To Trust Nik

General Hospital (GH) spoilers say Carolyn Webber (Denise Crosby) only dropped into Port Charles because Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) beckoned her, insisting that her daughter was in trouble and needed her help. When Carolyn ran into Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) at Kelly’s before her meeting with Nikolas, Lizzie didn’t seem disturbed or bothered by anything, leading Carolyn to wonder what Nikolas might be talking about.

When she arrived at Wyndemere, his explanation didn’t add up enough for Carolyn to invest any trust in the Cassadine prince, and she stormed out intent on never coming back. That is about to change as Carolyn comes to realize Nik might not have been lying, even though he wasn’t telling her the whole truth.

When Carolyn and her Lizzie sit down together again, it might be on better terms. Elizabeth could be too intrigued by her mother’s impromptu visit to pass up the chance to inquire one more time as to why she’s really there. Will Carolyn reveal what she really came to town for? If she does, it’s possible Elizabeth could tell her Nikolas isn’t lying.

On the other hand, if Carolyn dodges telling Elizabeth the truth, then she might still pick up on her daughter’s nerves being shot and some of what she says could tip her off that Elizabeth really is in trouble, but her mom is the last person she’s going to confide in. Still, Carolyn won’t hesitate to warn Elizabeth to stay away from Nik, even if she feels it’s not her place to impose advice on her daughter anymore.

GH Spoilers – Suggest Laura Collins Chimes In

Carolyn might also bump into Laura Collins (Genie Francis) while she’s in town, and Laura’s own opinion of her son right now could set off alarm bells for Carolyn. Laura might not disagree with Carolyn that Elizabeth probably isn’t in good company with him, but she’s still grateful that Elizabeth has stood by Nikolas over the years, through thick and thin. Will Laura’s own doubtful opinion of her son’s behavior make Carolyn reconsider helping him as a means to help her daughter?

It looks like Carolyn will be in Port Charles for longer than she expected, and her work is only beginning as she heads back to Wyndemere to tell Nikolas she has changed her mind. That being said, she might demand that he tell her the truth about what happened and why he doesn’t want Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) to remember what happened to her before she wound up hospitalized with hypothermia. Carolyn might be afraid to put two and two together, but she’s going to move forward helping Nik in hopes that it’ll help her redeem herself with her daughter.
