GH Spoilers: Carolyn Comes To Town To Try To Make Amends

General Hospital (GH) spoilers and updates tease that Carolyn Webber (Denise Crosby) comes to Port Charles to try and make amends with Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst). She knows after all this time it may be nearly impossible to reconnect with her daughter in a real way, but she’s going to try.

General Hospital Spoilers – Years Of Distance

“Lizzie” as her parents call her, had put years of distance as well as miles between herself and her mother and father, Jeff Webber (William R. Moses). Elizabeth didn’t want anything to do with her parents for many years until she made a trip out to California a few months ago trying to make peace with her past. Elizabeth had been losing time and didn’t understand what she was getting bits and pieces of memory of.

She hadn’t intended to see them, just to go in the house and try to find answers. But they came home when she was looking around and she found out more than she cared to.

GH Spoilers – Carolyn Webber Brainwashed Her

Carolyn, a psychiatrist, had brainwashed Elizabeth to repress the memories of her pushing her father’s mistress, Reiko Finn (Mele Ihara) down a flight of stairs. Liz had walked in on Jeff and Reiko in bed and she was steaming mad, and likely doesn’t understand why Carolyn forgave her philandering father. More awkward was the fact Liz was dating Hamilton Finn, (Michael Easton) Reiko’s husband and they broke up, not being able to handle the past events. Elizabeth wants to know if Carolyn loved Jeff more than she loved her, but she does acknowledge her mother’s pain and regret. At the time, Carolyn felt like she was doing the right thing by doing what she did, thinking she was sparing Elizabeth traumatic memories.

General Hospital Spoilers – Next Stop-Wyndemere?

Carolyn apparently is aware of Elizabeth’s longtime friendship with Nikolas Cassadine, (Marcus Coloma) who wants her help with something not related to Liz. Nikolas placed a call to Carolyn, being quite familiar with what Carolyn did to make Liz forget her trauma but she’s not sure what he wants. When she gets there, she’s surprised that she wants him to brainwash Esmé Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) to forget her trauma, saying it will be beneficial to Elizabeth!

Carolyn wonders what kind of trouble her daughter could be in now, when Nikolas strongly suggests she needs her help. Apparently, he will update her on what Elizabeth and he did to conceal Esmé and her pregnancy, which Liz was caught up in by providing private pregnancy care.
