GH Spoilers: Carly’s Secret Is Out — And Michael’s Fury Will Trump His Anger At Sonny

General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease the day Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) has hoped would never come has finally arrived. Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) has called her bluff and discovered Carly has been lying to him for months while he tried to track down Willow Tait’s (Katelyn MacMullen) birth parents.

Little did Carly know, Willow is in dire need of a bone marrow transplant that could save her life, and Carly had the answer to her prayers in mind all along — Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros). As Carly prepares herself for the worst, she still won’t be able to expect the level of fury her son, Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell), will throw her way. Is this the beginning of the end of Carly’s relationship with her first born child?

When Michael finds out Nina is Willow’s birth mother, he will struggle with wrapping his head around how that’s possible. He already had a child with Nina’s other daughter, Nelle Benson Jerome (Chloe Lanier), and finding out that Willow is her secret twin Nina never knew existed will be too much for him to absorb as he awaits news on Willow’s condition.

How is he possibly going to tell Willow this revelation without causing another collapse? Furthermore, that’s only part of the truth. Discovering that his mother has known since last summer and kept it to herself is going to destroy any faith he has in her, which is the last thing Michael needed right now in his life. Now he hasn’t either parent on his side.

Carly will try to explain why she did what she did. She’ll tell Michael the same things she told Drew. She thought Willow didn’t want to know her mother was actually worse than someone like Nina; She is Nina. Carly assumed she could carry this secret to her grave just like Harmony Miller (Inga Cadranel) intended to, and no one would ever have to be pained by the truth. Michael isn’t going to see things Carly’s way any more than Drew did though, and he will jump to the same conclusion that Carly just didn’t want Nina involved in their family. Is he right?
