GH Spoilers: Carly Updates Sonny, Ava’s Officially Missing, How Will They Handle It With Avery?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers and updates tease Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) will be the one to update Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) about the missing Ava Jerome (Maura West). Now that Sonny’s back from his wedding in Puerto Rico, how will they handle this situation with Avery Jerome-Corinthos (Ava and Grace Scarola) if her mother cannot be found?

General Hospital Spoilers – There Are Some Leads

While Sonny and the rest were in Puerto Rico, Pilar Rodgriguez (Brenda Barbarena) came looking for Josslyn in a panic. Ava had not come to pick up Avery and no one had been able to locate her, and even her voicemail box was full.

Josslyn discovered her cell phone and a grape sucker at Wyndemere, and Giles (Craig Gellis) a broken martini glass; and requested the help of Damian Spinelli, (Bradford Anderson).

Spinelli had accessed the security cameras outside the front door at Wyndemere-unfortunately, there are no cameras within. But Dex recognized Mason Gatlin (Nathanyael Grey) as he appeared to have a gun on Ava, then took her off the island in a motorboat.

GH Spoilers – Sonny Corinthos Is Angry

Sonny is angry when he hears what happened, and Dex fills him in as best he can-it’s obvious they need to look in Pautauk, where the Gatlins are from.

Aside from adding his men to the search for Ava and Mason, with Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) in on it too, they have to consider Avery.

Carly remembers when Avery would visit to play with Donna Corinthos (Scarlett Spears) when Sonny was missing and presumed dead, and her questions about Sonny.

No one wants Avery to have to deal with losing her mother at such a young age-Sonny has custody so that’s not the issue here.

The issue is a little girl’s mother going missing and how to deal with her grief if Ava never comes home and how to help her.

General Hospital Spoilers – They Hope It Doesn’t Come To That, But Prepare

Everyone hopes Ava is found and that she’s okay, and it doesn’t come to that, but still, they know they must prepare.

Until then, they try to keep everything as normal as possible for Avery, and try to keep her distracted from worry. But Avery is starting to ask questions about why her mother hasn’t called-all anyone can say is her phone is broken.

Of course it’s really not, but that’s all Carly, Josslyn and Sonny can come up with until more is known or they find Ava and bring her home. Avery is getting old enough to understand more than they care for her to, however, so the search for Ava is ramped up.
