GH Spoilers: Carly Promises To Help Nina Mend Fences With Willow

General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) just might be truly sorry for the mistake she made in keeping the truth about Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) and Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) being mother and daughter a secret from everyone. For a while, Carly tried to defend her actions and kept insisting she never would have kept this secret had she known Willow was sick and in need of a biological family member’s help.

However, it was hard for Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell), Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison), and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) to stomach what he had done, much less for Nina to. Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) has approached Carly with an interest in getting Willow to consider opening her arms to her birth mom, and Carly has shut down any hope of her playing a role in building that bridge — but that doesn’t mean she’s not thinking about it.

When Liesl asked Carly to help her mend fences between Willow and Nina, Carly scoffed. That was no small task she was asking her to succeed at. Willow would see right through it, certainly. There is no way Carly thinks she can pretend she’s suddenly accepting of Nina and thinks it’s a good idea for her to be in her son, Willow’s, or her grandson’s life. Still, Carly introduced Liesl to Willow with hope that her soon-to-be daughter-in-law might enjoy speaking to a biological family member that isn’t Nina. Sure, Nina and Liesl are very close, but the conversation doesn’t have to be about Nina. Is Willow going to let Liesl into her inner circle in the final days of her life?

What’s in this for Carly? She truly feels guilty. Not only did she commit this horrific act in keeping it a secret that Nina is Willow’s birth mother, but she also knows that Liesl’s daughter, Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) died saving her own daughter, Josslyn ‘Joss’ Jacks (Eden McCoy) from The Hook. Is this Carly seeking to pay a penance for her crimes or somehow even the score between her and Liesl for what her daughter’s life cost her?

Willow isn’t stupid. She knows how much Carly hates Nina, but all she’s going to see when Carly attempts to convince her to consider embracing Nina is how much Carly must love her. Willow is dying, and everyone knows it. She doesn’t have much time left and Carly genuinely believes Willow is too good of a person to leave Nina in shambles in the wake of her death all in effort to hold onto a grudge.
