GH Spoilers: Carly Demands Answers, Diane Backpedals Away From Drew’s Case

General Hospital spoilers spill Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) was beaming from ear to ear with hope when Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) gave her the go-ahead to pull Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) onto his case and try to find a way to shorten or commute his sentence to Pentonville.

Likewise, when Diane implied there was hope she could find bias in the judge’s background and get the case reopened, the same smile was plastered across Carly’s face. She has a good feeling about this.

So when Diane pulls back and says she can’t take the case without so much as an explanation as to why, Carly isn’t going to stand for being dismissed.

Diane didn’t hesitate to get right to work on rifling through Judge Kim’s (Kurt Yue) history. A long history of work in the state may serve the judge well, but he’s no match for Diane if he thinks he’s going to keep his track record hidden — or spotless.

GH Spoilers – Suggest Sonny Corinthos Takes Precedence

Diane is nothing if not ethical. She follows the letter of the law to near perfection, but she also understands where nuance comes into play.

She knows her loyalty to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) has led many to question whether it’s her morals or her love of money that needs remedying.

The truth is, Diane truly believes everyone deserves fair representation, but we’d be lying if we said she doesn’t seem to have some bias of her own.

Sonny pays her very well to make sure he comes first on her list, and he suddenly has a new reason to occupy all of her time.

General Hospital Spoilers — Carly Spencer Won’t Give Up

While Sonny’s reasons for monopolizing Diane’s time are legitimate, that doesn’t mean he is secretly tickled on the inside that she won’t have any time to help relieve Drew from his burdensome prison sentence.

According to GH spoilers, Sonny isn’t all that broken up about Drew being locked up. The more access he has to Carly, the better.

It’s not as though Sonny is paying Diane off to not take Drew’s case. She’ll just be far too busy helping Sonny to worry about anyone else.

So will Carly — who may find herself in Sonny’s corner more so than Drew’s soon. She isn’t throwing in the towel on Drew, but she’s going to have a darned difficult time getting Disne to sit Sonny’s case to the side to go on a fishing expedition in Judge Kim’s past.
