GH Spoilers: Carly Considers Going Back To The Start, But It’s Not In Florida

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) is in deep with the SEC, owing them a cool $5 million. She’s not sure where she’s going to come up with the money to pay this debt without forsaking everything else of monetary value in her life, but living the lavish lifestyle of a socialite with no need to work just might come to a rather abrupt end soon. Carly might be regretting going so easy on Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) in the divorce and only asking for the lakeside home. She could use the alimony checks right about now. It seems that her only solution to recouping her losses will be the old-fashioned way — going to work.

General Hospital Spoilers — A $5 Million Fine

Carly is grateful not to be spending the next three years or better in a federal prison like Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) is, but that doesn’t mean life on the outside is going to be easy in his absence.

Drew attempted to help Carly crawl out of this hole by selling Aurora Media — his company that he had intended to be Scout Cain’s (Cosette Abinante) legacy.

Carly wouldn’t hear of it. She’s determined to dig herself out of this one, although she wouldn’t have been opposed to help from Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) or Sonny had Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) not expressly warned against it.

GH Spoilers – Hint Help Is Out of Reach

Carly’s first thought was to call on Sonny, and that speaks volumes of their relationship. Josslyn ‘Joss’ Jacks (Eden McCoy) was quick to note that the Corinthos men were sure to come through for Carly, but Diane cautioned that any financial strings between all of them could make this even more of a mess — if one can imagine things getting worse.

Carly won’t put Sonny or her son at risk, so she’ll have to figure out how to pay off this fine without their help.

Once upon a time, Carly was just a physical therapy aide in training while she went to nursing school. Recently, she sat down with her mom, Bobbie Spencer (Jaclyn Zeman), and mentioned that she was considering going back to the hospital for work.

Will Carly end up following in her mom’s footsteps and heading back to nursing school? This might be a timely way to showcase her devotion to her mother’s legacy in the wake of Jaclyn Zeman’s death, which fans expect to blend into the same outcome for the character of Bobbie soon.
