GH Spoilers: Carly Bares All To Sam

General Hospital spoilers spill Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) is reportedly going to bare her soul to Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) soon. But let’s not get ahead of ourselves and assume that means she’s going to tell Sam the politically correct thing to say — that she loves Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) and only loves him.

According to General Hospital spoilers, Sam and Drew share a heavy past, and a child, but that doesn’t negate the fact that Sam has seen Carly through some fairly rough seas over the years, too.

If Carly is planning to tell Sam she is struggling with her commitment to Drew, how will that conversation go over? Who has earned more of Sam’s loyalty, and why would Carly put Sam in the middle of that drama?

Carly can’t help but feel like the only reason any of this has happened to Drew is because he was trying to protect her — and she let him. She’s never going to forget how angry Sam was with Drew for making the decision to plead guilty to a crime he didn’t commit.

Still, she meant it when she told Carly she wasn’t angry with her, and that she understood Drew made this decision himself and against Carly’s wishes.

Still, Carly wasn’t exactly jumping up to tell the judge the truth and spare Drew in the same way that he was willing to go to bat for her, now was she? On some level, Carly knows that, too.

GH Spoilers – Claim Three Years Is A Long Time to Wait

General Hospital spoilers show Drew jokingly reminded Carly before he headed off to prison that they were only going to be apart for 36 car payments. That’s a long time in Carly years when she’s riding in that car alone everywhere she goes.

Being alone has never really been her style for very long, and perhaps that shared trait is why she and her ex, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), so often end up back together.

While it’s unclear whether that’s where things are headed now, the world on the street is that Carly will have to make a choice soon that pits Drew and Sonny on opposite ends. Who will she choose?

General Hospital Spoilers — Ah, Loyalty

Do we ever have to ask this question? Obviously, Carly’s loyalty to Sonny trumps how she feels about Drew. Furthermore, how she feels about him is still in question. Fans just aren’t buying the faux chemistry between them.

It’s hard to gauge whether it’s just a poor match between actors and/or characters, or its intention. Regardless, Carly will always put the father of her children first. But where does Sam stand on that?

As Carly conveys the importance of that decision, will Sam understand, knowing she would always put Drew ahead as well because of Scout Cain (Cosette Abinante)?
