GH Spoilers: Can This Couple Survive-Anna Confronts Valentin Over More Lies?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers and updates pose the question, can this couple survive-Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) confronts Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) over more lies? Anna has caught Valentin in way too many lies since he returned from Chechnya…she worries that he’s been blackmailed, but is this trouble of his own making?

General Hospital Spoilers – No Trouble At ELQ The Night Of The Fire

Anna’s suspicions began the night of the fire, when she lost everything she had except for a photo-and even then, it was Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) who was suspicious first.

When Dante investigated the fire, thinking it could possibly be linked to the shooting at the Metro Court, he took the steps of checking ELQ’s security feeds. Anna said Valentin told her he had to go to ELQ to handle a plumbing emergency.

Dante found that the security feeds showed Valentin had ever gone there nor ever left. Anna thought perhaps Valentin was being blackmailed over something to exhibit such sketchy behavior.

GH Spoilers – Lack Of Trust Is Divisive

Lack of trust is divisive in any relationship, even though Valentin and Anna see suspicion as the norm, with both of them having been in the spy business.

Then Anna started snooping, after Valentin moved her into his suite at the Metro Court-he had to leave to attend to some business with Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight).

He had left a locked briefcase on the chair, which Anna quickly broke into and took out a folder with “Pikeman” on it-he returned and she tried to hide it.

She didn’t get a chance to look much at the contents, but she questioned him what he knew about the mercenary group, and he told her he once worked for them.

She also asked him about the cryptic warning he called her to give to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) the night of the shooting-they talked it out but she was still suspicious.

General Hospital Spoilers – Anna Devane Confronts Valentin Cassadine

The most recent time Anna followed Valentin, he claimed he was meeting a client at a café-instead he went to a house and talked briefly to someone and then left.

Anna called someone to try and find out who lived there or owned the house, but the person she called was unable to tell her.

That only increases her suspicions, and she determines to follow him again and this time she reveals herself and confronts him, again he’s somewhere where he lied to her about.

Valentin is torn-he’s indeed involved in something that he fears if Anna knew about she would never forgive him.

Not knowing what else to say, he tells her exactly that-of course she interrogates him on exactly what that is!
