GH Spoilers: Cam Discovers The Real Reason Joss Ended 2022 With A Break-Up

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal Cameron ‘Cam’ Webber (William Lipton) is about to feel his heart shatter when he learns the real reason Josslyn ‘Joss’ Jacks (Eden McCoy) broke up with him. Cam was blindsided when Joss stopped by Kelly’s on New Years Eve and broke the news that she no longer felt the same way about him anymore.

Teary-eyed and desperate to make the pain stop, she hoped they could still be friends, but Cam wasn’t ready to hear her utter those words. This is exactly what they both feared could happen when they originally debated whether or not they should even get involved as a couple. Now, it’s time to reap what they’ve sown. Cam is going to have a hard time digesting what Joss has really been up to.

When Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) is arrested on suspicion that he may be The Hook, he and Joss are going to find themselves in quite a predicament. Evidence may have turned up on the docks that Dex was present there the night Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) was hooked as someone else in The Hook’s sights got away. Unbeknownst to the police, that someone else was Joss. She can clear Dex of any suspicion, but not without revealing her relationship with him to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell), and Cam.

GH Spoilers – Hint It Wasn’t The First Time She Cheated

When Cam realizes Joss was with Dex the evening she came to break up with him, he’s going to know there’s more to the story. Joss may not have to reveal what she was doing with Dex that night, but she will have for elk the cops Dex protected her from The Hook and skirted her off to his apartment. Knowing what time the events with The Hook took place, Cam is going to piece together the timeline of events and will know Joss only showed up to break his heart because she was busy giving hers to someone else.

He’s been struggling to make sense of their break-up ever since it happened, and has only surmised that Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) ruined everything that they once were as a couple. When he opened up to his mom, Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst), about this, she warned him that breakups are rarely that simple.

Still, Cam saw no way there could be any other reason for Joss to end their relationship. Once he knows better, he grows resentful toward her for lying to him and bitter that it appears she was cheating. Will he call her out on it?
