GH Spoilers: Brook Lynn Tells Tracy About Nina’s Poolside Pause, But Not Olivia

General Hospital (GH) spoilers suggest Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) has been keeping her thoughts to herself ever since Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) told her Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) was on the video footage when her dad slipped and fell at the Metro Court pool. If Nina saw everything, why didn’t she intervene right away?

That doesn’t make much sense for a professional business owner like herself. She knows better. Furthermore, this wasn’t just any customer but her business partner’s husband. Why did Nina watch over the accident as everyone rushed to Ned Quartermaine’s (Wally Kurth) side? Instead, she tucked away her phone, avoided calling 911, and slipped out of sight. Brook Lynn intends to get to the bottom of this mystery, and she’s hoping that her granny, Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot), will help her out.

When Brook Lynn tells Tracy what Chase spotted on the video footage, her granny will be taken aback. But Tracy puts on a good show. Unfortunately for BLQ, she’s a bit blinded to her grandmother’s ways — yes, despite the fact that Tracy currently has her over a barrel and engaging in corporate espionage against the ladies at Deception. Brook Lynn wants to believe that Tracy would help her at any cost. This is her father’s well-being at stake. But BLQ isn’t aware of what’s at stake for Tracy either.

Brook Lynn can’t go to Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) with this news. Olivia has to work with Nina every day, and if she learned that Nina saw what happened with Ned, and she purposely did not intervene, she would lose it. If Nina is up to no good, they need her to think no one is on her trail. They’re most likely to catch her messing up and figure out what she’s doing if she believes no one knows she’s up to anything at all. For now, Olivia will have to remain in the dark.

Unfortunately for Chase and Brook Lynn, Tracy has her own agenda at pay. This entire time, Tracy was letting Ned take the fall as the SEC tipster when she knew who really did it all along — she did. Yes, that’s right, Tracy reported Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) and Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) to the SEC for insider trading. She was getting tired of waiting on her son to have the nerve to do it.

But Tracy also knows that another tip came later that day, from Martin ‘Marty’ Grey (Michael E. Knight) on behalf of Nina. When Chase starts to suspect that Nina may have been involved in the SEC tip, the last thing Tracy is going to want is for him to go sniffing around and find out it was her. Thus, when Brook Lynn thinks Tracy is helping her get to the bottom of what Nina is up to, she will actually be manipulating the situation in her favor to make sure no one finds out.
